This is a stellar B&B. The common areas are welcoming and beautifully furnished. The hosts are delightful. We spent one night in the queen bed room with the skylights. Everything we could possibly need was provided. I wish we had scheduled 2 nights, as it was such a lovely place. The breakfast was delicious and unusual.

The bedroom was one of the nicest on our fly/drive trip. It was large, delightfully furnished, with seating, TV, coffee table, wine glasses etc. A lovely space to relax. The house was pleasant, with sitting area and kitchenette for drinks etc. The garden was lovely with seats and tables. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit too cool to enjoy the small swimming pool. My husband saw deer in the garden in the morning. The breakfast was top quality and our hosts could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I can unhesitatingly recommend this B&B if you are in this area

A very comfortable and convenient B & B in Truro. Marteen and Nellie were very nice hosts working hard to make our stay most enjoyable. Our room was large with 4 pc en suite bath. Very, very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious hot entree and baked goods. Excellent coffee and a lovely table set with meal service. Hubby and I enjoyed our time at Baker’s Chest B&B very much and highly recommend this b & b.

After a busy day of travel, we were warmly welcomed by Martin who showed us around the lovely house, spoke with us about breakfast the next morning and showed us to our room. It was a good size, with a good bathroom and a very comfortable bed with nice bedding and pillows. We woke up in the morning to a wonderful breakfast with fellow travelers. We were served coffee, tea, and juices with traditional Dutch pancakes made with baked apple, as well as fruit and danish spice bread. We chatted with the lovely people at the table and even got some good recommendations for places we were headed. It was a perfect stop along our travels.

I can't speak highly enough of this B&B. We felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Every room we saw was stylishly furnished, but also felt homely. Every need had been thought of. Lovely breakfast and conversation. The hosts even gave great tips on where to eat and driving routes. Would love to stay here again in the future.
