Amazing facilities, beautiful kitchen, lovely little place up on the hill. Sue is an amazing host. Helped us out with fixing our bike. Grapes and figs growing outside. Omapere is a beautiful town to relax in.

This IS a place worth staying at. Why? It scores high in all three: house, location and owners. 1-HOUSE full of charm that does feel like such, from the sunlit, happy and well equipped kitchen that invites cooking to the living room with countless games, books, music and comfortable sofas. The porch outside has a truly Mediterranean feel and features hammocks and a darts board. Plus a mandarine tree to pick your own for breakfast. Everything welcomes social interaction and manages to be peaceful at the same time. Spotless toilets and kitchen. 2-Located on a low sunny hill, 3 minutes across the road from a beautiful beach that stretches long enough to walk for a while... 3-Owners: a bonus! Welcoming, friendly, and totally reliable! They go out of their way to make your stay more comfortable with any practical thing you may need, whether that be laundry, information or arrangements. I extended my stay and certainly don't regret it.

Really lovely welcome from the owners. Friendly and cozy atmosphere. Good equipped kitchen. Hammocks outside. We booked a 6 dorm for 5 people and they blocked the last bed to have us have a better stay ❤️

We were impressed by the lady who met us when we arrived here. She was very friendly made us feel welcome and went out of her way to ensure we knew where to find the equipment we needed and to ensure the room was OK. One of the nicest things we did was sit outside the dining room at the tables provided under the pagola which is covered with a grape vine. Everything was nice and clean. Many thanks from Alison and John
