We stayed here for two nights. All rooms are very clean, very nice furnished and decorated with nice artistic staff. The kitchen is big enough and good equipped. Next to dining space comfortable sitting-room with lot of board games. Very welcome hosts. The washer dryer could be better (we expected to get out drier clothes).

Thank you for some good feedback. For tourists wanting to enjoy this area we are positioned right on the Great Taste Bike Trail and within easy reach of the two national parks in our area and Golden Bay. Tour providers pick people up from here too - usually free of charge. Our dryer is a Maytag, so it is a...

This place looks new but has been 8 years in the making according to our hosts. Great communal kitchen and very clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend and would stay again. At $92 a night it was excellent value and a great location for access to Motueka or our to Marahau and the Abel Tasman.

Thanks Shane. Yes we do offer a real NZ experience in accommodation being out in the country with sheep grazing and views out to hills and mountains. Our buildings are designed to have to traditional farm building look that is common in NZ.

We camped in the grounds of this lovely place. There was a good area to pitch tents under the cover of trees for shade in the summer. Great facilities/kitchen etc. You can cook yourself a nice meal and eat on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous natural surroundings.

Great rooms, great facilities and nice quiet location. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we stayed on christmas eve and its not too far from Motueka. This is one of the highest standard lodge/hostel we stayed in.

Thanks Natalie. Your response reflects what many of our guests say to us on checking out. This year we are improving the entrance driveway, upgrading the bedding in our rooms, improving the guest lounge, doing some more garden landscaping (the soil arrived today) and doing a lot of work on our four share rooms to make them almost as nice...

We chose this as it was on the BBH listings. The location was very serene, relaxing and tranquil. The place is reasonably new and we had a private ensuite room that was delightfully presented. There is a magnificent kitchen, a lounge room and also a huge wrap around balcony. It is a stunning and peaceful location however you definitely need...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review; life is busy! We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Perhaps the male owner was not quite as smiley as normal because his wife had asked him about that time for help with her chickens - not his favourite birds, because when they escape they do scratch up...

This was the greatest hostel we had on our total New Zealand trip! It is very clean (rooms, kitchen, bathromms,...) and you have a lot of room to read, for telef´vision or to have a barbecue. The owner are very kind and friendly! The hostel is also a perfect place to start in the Abel Tasman nationalpark.

Hi! We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Do tell others about us, if you think they might want to stay - and Abel Tasman National Park is just so beautiful, isn't it?

This is a great place in Riwaka just north of Motueka. The surroundings are beautiful! We stayed both in a bunk room with shared facilities and an en suite double. Both were excellent: spacious and clean. The kitchen was very good and large, plenty of fridges. Good equippment. Free wifi with lots of data. I have absolutely nothing to complain...

This review has hit on some important points. We are perhaps the best located accommodation lodge in our area if you want to be in a farming area with expansive surroundings and views. The reviewer was in one of our two 4-share rooms. We are planning to 'up-market' these rooms to create more privacy for each person and provide other...

We had a fantastic time at the lodge and honestly didn't want to leave! The hosts were very generous, from our first day when they picked us up from town on very short notice and offered to stop at the supermarket, till our last one, when they gave us a ride to nearby Kaiteriteri to catch a bus. Throughout our...

Continued confirmation that we are providing a great place to relax and explore the Tasman region is always welcome. We are finding many more people now stay at Eden's Edge for longer periods and use it as their base for Abel Tasman National Park, Golden Bay and Kahurangi National Park.
