Stayed for one night only on our way to Abel Tasman National Park. The room was large, clean, nice kitchen and bathroom facilities and a patio with an orange tree. Lovely! The managers were very nice and helpful. Restaurants and super market are close by. The price was right for sure.

This motel was centrally located. All facilities were good and cleanliness of a good standard. Despite being close to he road traffic noise was not a problem Free Wi-Fi would be an asset as offered by most accommodation throughout the world now.

Thank you for the good review though I am a little confused about the Wi-Fi comment as we offer all our guests free unlimited Wi-Fi as we check people in???? We hope that we might see you again in the future. Best regards, Stephen & Lorraine

I stayed here on/off for around three weeks while on business. The managers went above and beyond to accommodate me. The units were large and comfortable. On the odd occasion there was even a home made muffin to devour. Linen and unit was always clean and tidy.

The Nautilus Lodge Motel is a 5 minute walk to the local grocery store and restaurants are equally as close. Rooms are exceptionally clean and during the nice weather taking advantage of the outdoor patio adds to the enjoyment of your stay.

Good morning Don and thank you for the great review. All our units have their own private outdoor space which allows our guests to take advantage of the beautiful weather that Motueka usually supplies us with. I think it is so important to have your own space to sit and relax, either between trips or at the end of a...

This was probably one of the best places we stayed during our trip. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. There was an outdoor patio area. The free wifi worked great. The office had DVDs available to borrow for free in our rooms. It was close to Abel Tasman NP. And the owners were extremely friendly & helpful and fun...

We had the perfect visit to Abel Tasman. We hiked, kayaked, ate wonderful food, had super friendly tour guides. When we checked into nautilus motel, things seemed normal enough. We didn't take up their kayak recommendation, but we appreciated the info. The woman half of the owner group, seemed helpful and welcoming. However, 3 days into our stay, we made...

There is always two sides to every story and whilst I agree that this incident could have been handled better, it actually wasn't the only day that more towels had been requested for your unit. My normally affable husband had received some extremely bad news from home that morning and obviously wasn't processing things right. In this job you are...

Arriving in the north just on school closing time on our drive up from Greymouth, via Westport, we decided to nip in to Nelson which we regard as a beautiful and unique regional city. Especially when the tide is in :-) Oh, oh. A couple of hours later, after escaping the endless traffic which is forever 'zipping up' from 2...

Comfortable beds, nice outside sitting area, walk to shopping and eating, nice big shower with lots of hot water. Stated for four nights because of central location to Tasman and Nelson. The parking area is a little tight but it works.

Thank you for writing a review on Nautilus Lodge. Yes parking can be a little tight sometimes if we have several big 4x4's or trucks in but most times it is just fine. The cars just seem to be getting bigger and bigger these days. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Maybe we'll see you again...
