Nice spacious rooms, lots of space, good for. Or it walks. Excellent service. Downside - very slow internet, forget the free breakfast - talk a walk around the area and enjoy some street food. I like the place.

If you come to Lashio to start your journey to Mandalay by train and you don’t want to leave town because you need to get up early to catch the train, Lashio Motel is – for the time being – your accommodation of choice. The motel is in a communist-era type building somewhere between the station and “downtown” Lashio where... More

Stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights and appreciated the location, Internet and breakfast. But for the area and what it is it's rather expensive. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Towels were a bit gray and dingy, but the room was clean and bright. Some of the rooms in one of the wings overlooks a monastery that... More

Very basic. Rooms clean and comfortable bed. English TV . Value for the price. Staff helpful. Breakfast could be improved. A mouse ran out of the kitchen and under the table next to us. Internet poor. No evening meals available would be really quite chilly in winter.

It's walking distance to Lashio Market, and so reasonably convenient. I stayed during the cool season - December (10-20°C - and while the rooms were not heated and cool, the hotel provided very warm, thick blankets that were cozy, and the beds were comfortable. In order to have a hot shower, remember to get up half an hour early and... More

I took a group the Lashio Motel this year and it is a basic, no frills hotel. Do not expect more than a clean room and a bed for the night and you will not be disappointed. Breakfast was excellent and the omelette cooked to order. Sadly although WiFi was present not one of my party had success in connecting.
