Everything about my stay here was perfect. We got the love influences package which included breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with amuse-bouche (all as exceptional as you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant). This also incuded a bottle of champagne each night in our room and a back shoulder and neck massage which was delightful. Pool and gym use...

This long-established country house hotel hits the spot for the many regular clients it has accrued over decades in business. It is very much privately-owned and personally-run, which has its pros and its cons. The pros include a high level of comfort, a very tranquil location, very charming and (generally) efficient service, and exceptional cooking and wine - a special...

Our second time to eriska and it is truly an outstanding hotel and island. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help. The hotel is worth the expense though hopefully the cost alone will deter travellers like detailed below who post negative reviews of this place to ever visit as they do not appreciate the beauty...

When, probably unrealistically, you're seeking lunch at 3pm and you decide, on a whim, to follow a sign to an island hotel of which you have no prior knowledge, you run the risk of being disappointed. When the journey takes you through an elaborate, contemporary, stone-clad gateway; along three miles of private, rhododendron-lined, newly-tarmac'd driveway; across a bridge sufficiently loose-slatted...

We booked this place for our friends' anniversary celebration. Originally booked online and was unaware of pay before you stay discount. So we asked the hotel to arrange. Wanted to pay by Amex but they had an issue and said they would sort when it was resolved. They couldn't take over the phone so had to go through form filling...

Blackmail is a terrible thing, if you cant afford an option then do not try book and get a reduction to meet your budget by threatening writing on Trip Advisor- we will not be blackmailed by individuals such as you.

Perhaps I'm lucky whenever I visit, but the weather has always been pretty good (i.e. try September and early October) and the setting is simply stunning. Playing a round of golf at first light on the island course (a decent play, well maintained and quite challenging) is to be strongly recommended. The lunch restaurant above the sports facilities gives good,...

Thank you for taking the time and effort to write about your recent visit to Eriska. In truth if you visit the West Coast of Scotland you will be lucky and have some stunning weather but hopefully if you are not so fortunate there is still enough to keep you occupied whether its in the spa, in the pool, in...

This luxury hotel is quite special in location and style and takes you back to a bygone era! The service is excellent when on form but can be patchy particularly if there are a lot of regulars and you are a newcomer but staff are friendly and well informed. Beautiful setting with lots of facilities for all so quietly set...

Can honestly say this is by far the best hotel i have ever stayed in! The service received throughout our stay was second to none we literally couldn't fault it, Jack and his team truly make this place. The rooms themselves are luxurious, filled with beautiful furniture and are well thought out. We ate from the tasting menu on both...

We have recently got home following two nights stay at The Isle of Eriska Hotel and Spa 25 minutes’ drive north of Oban. I can honestly say that this was the best hotel we have stayed in in the UK and we have travelled quite extensively. It was definitely 5 Star but without the pomposity of a 5 Star hotel!...
