We stayed in this campground one evening after arriving quite late at Chilko Lake. We had dinner there and were made very welcome by the cosmopolitan crowd there. Although camping facilities were pretty minimal, it was a pleasant experience because of the friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Preis /Leistung passt ! Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt.
Liebe Grüße von uns allen!!

ne night camping here costs $28 .. and that's without power.... the campground is very basic ... there was a pit toilet in front of my campsite that has walls only up to chest height and while I was eating my supper there was a man sitting on the toilet who was able to make eye contact with me ... if you zoom in in the pic you can see him ..... when I was paying (Housie the owner) for my camping I asked if I could get on the wifi as there is wifi at the restaurant and was told I could if I paid a further $6. I declined.... Knowing the cost of camping and wifi when he asked if I wanted to book in for supper at the restaurant I declined as if wifi cost $6 I was afraid to ask the cost of an evening meal...... There was a large campfire lighting outside the restaurant that I was allowed to sit at and this was where the supper was being cooked.....i have stayed in campgrounds all over BC and thought this campground not good value and would recommend buying a BC back roads map book in any gas station which lists the recreation sites which are very often free......
