NEGATIVE POINTS: There were scarabs EVERYWHERE. When we went out of the room there was a whole "carpet" made of this beetles. We went to the kitchen and they were also there. To the bar, also. To the pool, also... The hotel owners should do something about it. We didn't see this anywhere else in Nicaragua... There is always insects,...

Staying at Casa Bahia hotel was one of the best decisions I made during my whole trip to Nicaragua! The hotel by itself is absolutely stunning and the hotel staff always went above and beyond to help me, whether that be to arrange a surf lesson for me or even arrange my trip back to Managua via their own shuttle...

We was supposed to stayed one day and at the end we stayed another day in paradise. Beautiful views, nice pool, lovely cabaña, and the rooms at the main building was really nice as well. We was welcome with a coctail and also breakfast was included. Friendly staff ... I really recomended it.

Friends told us that renting and driving a car in Nicaragua should not be a problem. So we drove here from Granada and used a navigation system which directed us to turn on to Route 72 at Rivas. Route 72 from Rivas is about 30 miles of rocks, dirt and potholes. Very, very rough. DO NOT take Route 72 from...

Thank you for the detailed instructions. Getting to Casa Bahia is part of your stay and we want your journey to be as safe and comfortable as possible. It is important to point out that the visually shorter route (Rivas to Playa Marsella) is not the better route. Just as Jon described above, follow the Pan-American to La Virgen, then...

I stayed here with a film production for a month and it was great. Rooms have AC, pool is great, food is great and the staff is accommodating. It's also steps to the beach. Wish the hot tub was a little nicer, but that's the only complaint. Great stay for the price, especially for the air conditioned rooms!

Our company and significant others took a group trip up to Casa Bahia, and it was everything we'd hoped for: incredible views, close proximity to the beach, knowledgable and helpful staff, good food, and so much fun. Olaf and Fositi guided us around the area, and engaged us in some great activities: zip-lining, boat tours, surfing, and even just fun...

Stayed here with my two kids and it was perfect. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle and a short walk to a beautiful beach. The food is awesome and the staff is amazing! There is a ton to do, zip lining, surfing, disc golf, hiking, or just relaxing by the hotels beautiful pool and spa or getting...

The room was nice. The location is great. Up on a hill so you have an amazing view of the surrounding area, but still just a few minutes walk from the beach. If you go down to the beach at night before the moon rises your can clearly see the Milky Way. The owners, Olaf and Fositi, are super friendly...

Unless you're a travel bug, visiting a country for the first time can be overwhelming. Olaf was super engaging from the minute he picked us up from the airport.
