Found this place out of luck when we needed a place to stay ASAP. The owners were fantastic; went above and beyond for us. The kids enjoyed it, the pool was great and there’s also a river that you can go in, even tubbing! Would definitely recommend and return!
We went on the Saturday afternoon for 1 night to check it out. The owners were very welcoming and they seemed so pleased we chose to stay in their campground. I forgot some things and the owner was right there to lend me stuff of hers. The club house was one of my favorite things as was a rainy evening and the seasonal folks invited us for snacks and to sit around and chat. We will definitely go back next summer...next time with a tube to relax in the river, as we understand that to be a favorite activity.
This was the first time we stayed at Durham Bridge rv resort Nb it is a small campground but a very nice campground. We met very nice people here on the Nb day weekend it’s right beside the Nashwaak river, Halloween in August was happening our child had a ball and didn’t want to come home
My fiancée and I stayed two nights (camping), in the coveted private site at Durham Bridge RV Resort. Our site was close to the washrooms, but across the street from all other sites, on the edge of the water. Upon check in we were met at our site by the owners, Kari & Rob. They were so friendly, we felt instantly welcome :) they asked us if we needed anything and were always available to help. On our second day we went tubing, and wanted to have a few beverages while tubing, so we left our vehicle at the tubing facility. The next day Rob took us to our vehicle with no problems at all. I believe this is a hidden gem, if you have the opportunity to go I highly recommend staying here. We will be back! Thanks for everything! :)
8 of our group met here for the weekend. New owners are doing a terrific job of renovating the CG. Very Pretty, quiet, campers are Great! Right on the Nashwaak River, close to Fredericton, NB. Watch the canoes/tubers float down the river or join them. Thanks so much Kari & Mike!
We were back in the area again and decided to stay here for the Canada Day wknd. This place is such a nice spot.. river running by it where you can tube by the campsite from up river if you choose to. It’s just a short drive into Fredericton. The events were fun. We will surely be back in the future. It’s much better than Woolastook or Mactaquac but that’s just my opinion.
We travelled to Fredericton with family and did not want to stay in Mactaquac with the Winnebago.. found this campsite after doing a little research. The roadway down to the campsite was maintained and had no issues getting our 30’ down there. Once we got to our site there was plenty of room.. open spacious and well maintained. They have been upgrading the campsite since buying it a few years ago.
We booked for a month in August and stayed the rest of the camping season. A small campground (40 lots) but big on community and the owners, Kari and Rob are very involved. They make their "rounds" to say hello to each campsite, have done many improvements and plan on making more improvements for the next camping season. The clubhouse is a great place to gather on a rainy or chilly night. The pool is a great way to cool down and socialize with other campers. The campground is clean and tidy. The public bathroom is clean. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. The river is within feet to enjoy. We have booked for seasonal next year and a lot of our friends have come to check the place out and camped weekends. Keep up the good work Kari and Rob.
i belive yes pay if your staying but not just to go in and see you friends no other camp ground charges to go and visit only if your staying so why this place where its such a great place to go
Great place to stay near Fredericton, NB, only about 20 minutes from Tim Horton's and the BEST coffee in the Province. Bill and Ken are wonderful hosts, there are plenty of campsites, most with water and electricity, a great swimming pool, all within a very quick drive to Fredericton, yet out far enough so one is not bothered by city life. VERY reasonable prices as well!
