This hostel is really nice. Staff are all kind & friendly. Close to the train station. Have to bring your own food. The shower rooms don't have lock. By the way, I think it is very good place to watch Aurora. You can walk to the lake easily.

Great trip, good times. The staff were very hospitable and helped us when our train was cancelled. Great location right near the lake and the cross country skis and snow shoes were awesome for adventures.

I've stayed at this hostel now three different times and its great everytime. The atmosphere at the hostel is great and it feels very communal. Especially during Aurora season, you can always find another guest to go out with to spot the lights. Also, there is always buzz during the evening and everyone is checking to see when the lights...

Great value relatively basic hostel. Superb dog sledding trip plus they provide decent boots and snowsuits. Free use of the sauna and use of snow shoes and skiis. Be aware of limited food supplies in Abisko, apart from rice pasta and a few tins there was no fresh fruit or vegetables. Stunning location.

we have spent one night in a shared hostel room without the shower inside for the price of 3 star hotel in Norway. Strange isn`t it? Linens excluded (extra paid), breakfast too, in the supermarket you can buy simply nothing. Lack of any competetive choice in Abisko. At least staff was really friendly and helpful, large kitchen and international visitors.

This place is not the four seasons, but then again you're not paying four seasons prices for it. Staff is super friendly and helpful, common areas like bathroom/kitchen always seemed clean. Shower facilities are outside (separated by gender), which may be an issue for some, but it's literally a 3 second walk so I didn't mind.

Good location (especially for the northern lights hence it is away from city lights) though it was far from the national park, kind and helpful staff but room was a bit cold and small and showers were in another building. There wasn't enough bathrooms. Price was the best among others!

The staff are very accommodating. Good place to meet new friends. The bed is nice but I think the pillow could be better. The room is spacious enough for six people. Good location, walking distance from Abisko Ostra train station. Not a lot of food options in the locality so I suggest buy your own grocery before coming to Abisko....
