We stayed at Fernglen Forest Retreat for the weekend celebrating two birthdays. It was a girl's weekend away for us 5 long time friends. The house was very comfortable and cosy and warm, we loved the cosy beds and the open fire too. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the beautiful surroundings with trees and ferns visible through every window....

We traveled from Adelaide to attend a two day conference and to work as a staff team. 8 of us spent 4 days in the Lodge. It was the perfect retreat to work and brainstorm and easily access our conference in Lilydale. Plenty of space to spread ourselves around and the surrounding forest was so beautiful and relaxing. Alix made...

What a truly stunning property with ferns and greenery scene from every window. Had a girls trip at Fernglen retreat and had the most relaxing time. The property is well maintained and has everything you need. The hostess Alix made everything easy.

Found this place online and had almost instant contact from the owner checking up on the booking details and then another call just before we arrived to make sure we knew where to go. Lovely Villa with two double rooms with comfy beds, large bathroom and open lounge, dining and kitchen and the Open fire was set ready for us...

Stayed with family for a recent wedding at the local reception centre. I was so impressed with the seclusion of Fernglen. So close to where we had to be for the big important day and completely stocked with everything we need to prepare and feel at ease. The photos of the wedding couple came out perfectly as there were opportunities...

We stayed two nights with our kids and my parents in the Grand Lodge. Plenty of space, with the two kitchens and relaxing areas. The kids and I loved lazing in the hot tub, even in the cold of Winter. Saw deer, fox, rosellas and beautiful natural forest views. So secluded, you feel like you are miles from any other...

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding at Tatra Receptions, it was wonderful. The rooms are lovely and clean and the surrounds are beautiful. Alix was so hospitable and flexible with our needs. She even had fresh bacon and eggs in the fridge for our breakfast the next morning. Our group was 10 and the house...

We spent two nights as returning customers to the cottage , it was quiet and relaxing and the sky high package was a great deal , the cottage is a good romantic destination for a couple as it's small and intimate , needs confier seating and maybe a range of DVD viewing to relax with but overall a very nice...

Very accomodating for a last minute weekend getaway with friends. Clean & comfortable self contained cottages set in a peaceful location with a hot tub to top off the relaxation. Mornings were fresh but beautiful waking up to the sound of nature, even had a visit from a Kookaburra much to our amazement! Short drive to local supermarket & picturesque...
