This is our third stay here, fairly last minute due to lifting of some COVID travel restrictions - we have stayed in a hotel room, 2 bedroom and now 1 bedroom - it was hot at the end of June and no a/c here and it didn't cool at night, I brought a fan and there was a fan in the room - we could have used a bit bigger fridge, did all our cooking on the barbeque on the deck, such spectacular views and watching the tide activity in and out of the channel is interesting - with COVID no cleaning but a basket outside the room for fresh towels, coffee and whatever else is needed which was more than good enough for us - next year hoping to bring our boat and stay again

We stayed here in June, 2020 for a weekend. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. We were in the older building with a deck that looked into a tree. The deck was dirty, with a dead bird in the rafters. The room was satisfactory, but clearly hadn't been booked for a while. When I turned the tap on on the bathroom, it spurted a few times, stopped, and then spewed filthy dark brown water. The grounds were clearly at one time lovely, but now are overgrown and weedy. There was no extra toilet paper in the room, and the place smelled musty. There was a wedding happening so the place was noisy. The good thing is that we weren't in the room much but if you want a lovely place to stay on the coast, this is not it.

Room Tip: If you are staying here, I would recommend a cabin or a room in the newer building.

We found this resort by chance On a weekend getaway. Amazing location with the view of the harbour from our one bedroom superior suite. Fireplace, king bed, jacuzzi bath. Spacious and so clean. I guess my only negative was the futon couch in our suite though understandable for extra sleeping guests. Just very uncomfortable for sitting in the living room during our stay. May I suggest a softer lighting in the kitchen area? With only one light in the living room, I had to bring a lamp in from the bedroom for soft lighting. The light under the microwave did not work so it was full on bright for kitchen lights. Again, thank you for a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely stay again.
