What distinguishes the hotel is the sophisticated elegance of the rooms and context, together with the infinite kindness of the staff, always smiling, helpful and welcoming.
The beauty and cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, the warm and welcoming Tyrolean style of the rooms and furnishings, with their inebriating scent of wood and the silence, allowed us a regenerating rest for body and mind.
The wellness center is remarkable, a true wellness retreat, perhaps one of the most beautiful and complete I have ever visited. The 3000 m2 spa with its incredible indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools and spectacular saunas allows you to enjoy a pleasant, regenerating and satisfying experience for all 5 senses. Delicate colours, aromatic scents and a panoramic view of the peaks of the Dolomites make your stay in this hotel unique and exclusive. The cuisine is excellent: breakfast with the rich buffet suitable for all tastes, dinner with the a la carte menu which ranges from typical traditional South Tyrolean dishes to the most refined and refined dishes.
Furthermore, it is located in a convenient and strategic position, just a few minutes from the center of Dobbiaco and not far from the lake of the same name.

The breakfast buffet offers everything your heart desires - freshly baked croissants, sausage, ham, salmon, even prosecco. You squeeze your own carrot, orange or apple juice. If you wish, you can get an egg dish. In the evening you can choose from 3 menus, and you can also swap individual dishes/have additional ones (we didn't try this). There is also a salad and dessert buffet. The portions of the menu are appropriate, so you can try the delicious buffets. The service is prompt and friendly, one course is served after the next. Asking for a break is a bit difficult if you don't speak Italian, as many only spoke Italian and little English. The wine advice was perfect for our taste.
The very large wellness area is clean and offers everything your heart desires, but in high season you can hardly find a free lounger. Unfortunately, the drinks there are only available in disposable plastic cups.
The train station is easy to reach on foot and the train goes directly to the cable car.
One small point of criticism, although it didn't affect us, is that the area of the hotel that we saw is not wheelchair accessible.
In summary, it is a very nice and recommendable hotel. For couples' holidays, we would recommend booking it outside of school holidays.

Ultimately, a hotel absolutely recommended for a stay in Val Pusteria!

We felt welcome from the start and nothing was left to be desired. We also really liked the fact that we could flexibly swap individual courses of the menu at dinner. The quality of the food is very good and imaginative - South Tyrolean cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. Each menu includes a salad and dessert buffet.
Breakfast is served until 11 a.m. - which was perfect for us. The breakfast buffet was still well stocked at 10 a.m. Fresh egg dishes come from the kitchen on request. We squeezed our own juice from apples, carrots and oranges every morning. You can tell from the breakfast offering that the hotel is run by a family of athletes.
We would also like to mention the good accessibility by train. The train station is only 200m away and the hotel price includes the South Tyrol Mobilcard with free use of public transport in South Tyrol.
Next time we will travel by train, as we didn't use the car.
The 3000sqm wellness area with panoramic sauna and many other saunas, two outdoor pools with a view of the Nordic Ski Arena and plenty of rest areas is a dream. The infusion with Maurizio is an experience.
There are also a variety of spa treatments that you should book before you arrive, as the offer is very well booked. I had a 50-minute relaxing massage, which I can highly recommend.
Thanks to Jürgen Santer, who is always present and approachable. And Godelieve Santer for the always warm and personal greeting every evening. We will definitely come back.

In the evening 3 different menus are offered Price performance is top!
It's always great to be there. The staff are friendly and very attentive! I highly recommend the Things to do in the SPA area with the friendly staff.
Feeling good is guaranteed you should not miss this pearl!

What can I say... we fell in love with this place, not to mention that it is located in one of the most beautiful areas of South Tyrol.
We'll be back.. and then we'll be back.

Excellent cuisine and breakfast buffet.
In my opinion the prices of drinks at the bar are too expensive (if it had cost less I would certainly have used this service more before and after dinner).
Overall a great hotel in an excellent location for visiting the surrounding area.
The outdoor relaxation pool at a wonderful temperature. But found in other hotels the water temperature so warm and pleasant

"Rooms in the Lodge are new, spacious and well-appointed and conveniently near the spa"Read full review
"The rooms in the Landro Lodge (named for lake Landro) are enormous, modern, spacious, comfortable and worth the splurge. They have nice views and all are quiet due to their double door system. I do not think any room in any part of the hotel would be bad, though these are particularly gracious."Read full review
