This is our 3rd visit to the Romanza and we absolutely love it, the staff are amazing and they were great with our one year old. Hotel is set in lovely grounds on top of a cliff, you just can't beat the views.

In May I imagine all rooms will be quiet. To request an upper balcony - or anything else - I would suggest you email Romanza directly through their website. 12th May might be a bit early for Thomson though.
