I´ve been here several times for food and drinks and I stayed recently one night in a banda. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. My favourite is though the restaurant / bar /tree house lounge! All my friends that have visited Diani beach has come here too at least once during their vacation to enjoy the good food,... More

Stilts Backpackers is perfect for the ones travelling on budget. We had a treehouse. It is not really a house in a tree; more a house among the trees - it is build on concreet pilars. Room is small - just a bit bigger than the size of a double bed. In front a nice terras. Bathroom was shared -... More

Thanks for your review Francis, Sorry you had trouble getting from the road to the beach, our beach access is through Forty Thieves Beach bar which is very hard to miss. Most of the beach side properties are private so finding a way through other that via the beach bar can be tricky. Glad to hear over all your stay... More

Loved the relaxed atmosphere, the HUGE (and clean) showers, the broad winding pathway to the tree-houses and the overall setting. It is perfectly located for exploring Diani. Wayne was very helpful in every way. It is well run, very safe, clean and simply quite wonderful! Feeding time with the bush babies ads extra value and entertainment.

The location is just great, there are monkeys and other lovely animals around and the price for accomodation is reasonable. Wayne, the man in charge, treates every guest like family, is absolutely honest and can organise and explain everything for you, without wanting to sell you something. The vibes in the camp are great, no blasting music at night, trees... More

The hostel was very well maintained, and the host extremely proactive in helping out and providing tips on what to do, where to eat, etc. He was also able to organize reasonably priced transport to show us around. Definitely would come back.

The location is brilliant- a walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and is on the same road as plenty of shops, cafés, bars and a bank. The facilities were excellent with spacious, powerful showers. Wayne was so hospitable and treated every one of his guests personally and individually. Everything was arranged by him to be at our doorstep from skydiving... More

Cheap, easy and very friendly. Stayed there for 3 nights and throughly enjoyed myself. Rooms are simple and clean - exactly what you'd expect in Kenya. Location is also fantastic, located on the main road in Diani just a 5 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Overall couldn't ask for anything better for $20... After working in Nairobi for a few weeks, my flatmates and I were looking for some nice weather so took a quick trip to Diani knowing nothing about it. We planned on staying 2 days, ended up staying 5. What was the reason? The beach, sure. Bars, nightlife, shopping, yeah okay. But the absolute main reason was Stilts and specifically... More
