Hi! Recently the weather has been rather hard to predict, it has changed a lot... this year in October it was pratically Summer again. A safe bet is to come more towards the end of May as usual spring is the rain season here (March/April).
Regarding the night life, Lagos has several options and it is only a 10 minutes drive away. You can get the bus there for 1,60 Euros per person and a taxi back for 12,00 to 15,00 Euros.
Being a small town, everything is reachable at walking distance in Lagos. Luz is a small village and doesn't offer so many option in terms of night life as it does in terms of food.
