We stayed for a week. The bar over the supermarket wasn't opened to our knowledge, but it was still very early on in the season - they are expecting things to get busy over the next few weeks, so hopefully it will reopen by the time you are due to go there.
They changed the menu, and I must admit I missed the garlic bread. The wood oven is not yet operational (it's the same at the Villa Christina at the moment), they are still waiting for wood I think. The first night I was very unimpressed with the food, but decided to give it another go later on, and the food was good the second and third times round. I gather they now changed the chef as well.
One thing I noticed is that as soon as the mains are finished the waiter brings out your bill. I questioned this, because if you want to have desserts, coffee, etc. it feels a bit odd. I'm told that there is a new tax law which means that the bill has to be on the table as soon as, and then if you want to have something else, then they just have to give you a new bill for it - so please don't be put off by this.
I hope you have a lovely time.
