lovely clean hotel. very welcoming staff and atmosphere. room is spotless. would definitely recommend this hotel. views are lovely from the major of rooms. never tried the food unfortunately . close to the centre of town

Stayed at spa hotel for china crisis gig which was excellent. Hotel staff are really friendly & helpfull without being over the top. Breakfast was excellent & room we had was very comfortable. I would highly recommend the spa hotel.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel! We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we set foot inside. The staff were warm and friendly and so helpful...especially Angela. My husband and I were in Saltburn to see a band and there were quite a few people staying overnight. Everything was perfect...breakfast was perfect, the views are amazing and the bar... More

The hotel was warm and inviting on arrival, and until departure. The service was brilliant, staff were very friendly and helpful. The Live music at the Spa Hotel was brilliant - China Crisis - 80's group who I'd never really followed, but superb concert with great banter and music. The pictures in the bar/reception show the hotel when it was a dance hall, the rooms in the old part then make sense with the picture windows and high ceilings. The rooms are very comfortable, facilities and finish are good. Evening meal very good, all fresh and local and cooked very well. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating.... More

We stayed overnight to attend an engagement party and had a lovely time. Our room was of a good size it did smell of paint as it had just been redecorated but the window was open and didn't cause us any inconvenience. we checked in for one night to attend a family event. the staff were excellent and the catering for dogs was second to none. my only reservation was the bath was high and really difficult to get in or out from. to the point potentially dangerous

Amazing hotel ,the room we had was enormous,well furnished with a very interesting Art Deco stained window ,lovely king size bed ,only downside was the other window was so high you couldn't see the lovely sea view

The Victorian resort of Saltburn-by-the-sea still lives on today, with Britain's oldest water-based cliff lift still in operation. The Saltburn cliff lift transports passengers up and down the 120ft embankment to the sea front, Saltburn's famous Victorian Pier and town centre. Saltburn retains all of the charm and elegance of its heyday as a thriving Victorian Resort. The Smugglers Heritage Centre details the history of the once prospering smuggler trade along this beautiful coastline.
