We made up a party of 10 adults and two children for afternoon tea on Saturday afternoon. The table was good-set with nice old fashioned tea cups and saucers, and a little away from the rest of the room (though it was wasn't that busy at 3pm) The food arrived quickly and there was enough-so long as you have a...

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the north east for an occasion. The hotel is in a fabulous location which boasts spectacular views of the north east coast. The rooms are spacious and the bar/restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced. Will stay again!

The bar has been nicely refurbished since our last visit but our lunch was a little disappointing! I do prefer my meal on a plate rather than the new trend i.e.a slate! The view is fantastic. Parking could be a problem! There were only 2 other tables in use but of course the Spa is residential. We fortunately had the...

I decided to surprise my girlfriend with a trip to the coast, originally looking at Whitby but was fully booked. Saw the Spa Hotel, read the great reviews and thought we would give it a try. Right from arriving we were impressed which was helped by the lovely weather. Jonathan behind the bar was very attentive, prices were good. Evening...

Well appointed hotel with great views overlooking cliffs and beach. The service and dinner was excellent. Room was comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that our bathroom could have done with a make over and the shower pressure was inadequate. Also The shower head was badly positioned causing more water...
