We stayed two nights here recently as we were taking part in the Allendale Challenge and The Reading Rooms were perfect for our stay. Brian, our host, was extremely helpful, making sure we knew what we were doing for the challenge and even getting up early to make us a hearty breakfast before we set off on our walk. The...

We decided at the last minute to stop off at Haydon Bridge overnight. We found the Reading Rooms bed and breakfast. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely return to this delightful bed and breakfast.

We have stayed at The Reading Rooms a number of times, as we have family who live in Haydon Bridge. The rooms are excellent, the breakfast was excellent, the location was excellent. We would always use this B&B when visiting Haydon Bridge.

This B and B had so many qualities; really clean and lovely smelling sheets and towels, nice toiletries, all those little things you want in a room (hair dryer, bottled water, coffee, tea and biscuits), a super comfy bed, a really quiet and restful night's sleep but what made it a cut above others was the friendliness, attentiveness and care...

For us this B&B "ticked all the boxes" as they say. The room was warm, clean and spacious. The shower room was of a generous size and the modern shower issued truly hot water. The WiFi reception was excellent. Even though the location was at the centre of the village double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The beds were...

It is one thing to visit a bed and breakfast establishment and be impressed by the service and facilities. It is quite another thing to repeatedly visit the same establishment and continue to be delighted by those standards. Such has been my experience at The Reading Rooms in the delightful Northumberland village of Haydon Bridge. I've almost lost count of...

We stayed at the Reading Rooms for one night and absolutely enjoyed it. Our room was clean and cosy and offered a great view of the river and the beautiful bridge. The pubs are close to the B&B. We got to enjoy a perfectly nice evening with some local people. We had an awsome freshly prepared breakfast in the morning....

We stayed here as we had a wedding near by. The location was idyllic and quiet. The B&B itself was located right by the beautiful bridge.. plenty of parking near by. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Exactly what we needed. Our hosts were brilliant and even took me the next morning to collect my car that I had...

Everything about staying at The Reading Rooms B&B surpassed my expectations. My room was quite superb with amazing views of the village and river - you could hardly have better vews of Hatdon Bridge. The room was clean and well appointed with excellent facilities that more than met my requirements. Situated right in the middle of Haydon Bridge there are...
