The grounds of this resort are simply beautiful and so very lush. Private patio with plunge pool for enjoying morning coffee with the sunrise, or a moonlit night cap with the sounds of nature all around. Staff were very helpful with recommendations for daily outings. Short 10 min walk to the beach. On-site restaurant very good. The owner was ESPECIALLY...

Having been all over the Caribbean, we had yet to visit Martinique and glad we chose French Coco for our first. Our greeting and rum punch by Philippe, was a welcome treat. Did I mention the Rhum Agricole punch? Our room was great with the industrial/spartan look we had expected (from research). Loved it all from the concrete floors to touches...

A new hotel that has been expertly designed by an architect and owner, Robert, Frenchman and Martinique resident of nearly 30 years. Robert recently rebuilt his hotel from the previous one he owned on the same site, to become French Coco, a Robinson-Crusoe-meets-Parisian-art-gallery style hotel. Robert told me in passing that the lush gardens comprise more than 1000 tree and...

First allow me to say that this is a beautifully decorated hotel that is clean and well designed. The ambiance and the connection between the hotel property and nature is simply amazing!!! For me this hotel had the following misses which underscores the beauty of this property: 1. Distance from the airport - to my knowledge the hotel does not...

Ideal location if you want to rest and relax and maybe go for a dip in the pool or lay on the beach. If you stay here have a car so that you can venture out of the resort. There are no other restaurants or establishments close and taxis do not run after 6 PM. The restaurant was nice and...

We are finishing up a 5-day stay at Hotel French Coco and have been swept away by the beauty of its location and the helpfulness of its staff. In addition to a beautiful pool shared by all hotel visitors, as reflected in the photos, each room (half of a bungalow) has its own private plunge pool and wood deck, with...

The hotel and the restaurant are exceptional. Service is by far the best on the island! The staff is dedicated to make you feel comfortable and make sure you have a wonderful customer experience from the moment you walk through the door. Coming from Singapore I was really impressed. The Chef makes sure every dish is a combination of local...

If I could score it 4.5 I would but I can't give it 5 just yet . Opened in July 2016 it still has a few issues to be sorted out before it can be truly luxurious though it is already a member of Small Luxury Hotels - not sure how they accreditate new members .We stayed 7 nights ....

Amazing product ! Very chic, peaceful, authentic. I appreciated the will to be carefull about all the details. The garden is really amazing and allows this boutique hotel to marry perfectly with its environnement and you to appreciate luxury and quality in the meantime. The restaurant is certainly one of the best of the island I have ever tasted. The...
