This hotel was booked as part of an educational tour that my students and I took in Spain. The hotel had decent sized rooms/bathrooms and friendly staff. They also had a beautiful garden that you could walk around in. The food at the hotel, however, was awful. Buffet style and not good. We hoped breakfast would be better than dinner,...

Nicely themed hotel with clean and good size bedroom. As it's the holiday season, festive music runs through the night which brings up the mood. Breakfast comes with a wide spread. However, imo, pastries tasted average. Other than that, overall stay was good!

Done in an arabic style with designs and patterns, which made a nice change to standard hotel decor. Enjoyed the balcony with view over the village + moutains in the background. It's too far to travel into Seville for an eve (if you do not have your own car). The room was fine, we quite liked it and the bathroom...

I wasn't thrilled about driving in Sevilla, so I was looking for some place out of town with public transportation and, besides that, I'm what might euphemistically called "budget conscious." On line, Abades fit the bill. It turned out to be a bit more hotel than I was used to, so it was a good choice. Breakfast buffet was included...

We stayed at the Abades as part of a trip to see Seville, Cordoba and Jerez. At first sight, the hotel doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary, however on entering , the decor makes this hotel quite special. The design is a little Arabic, with delicate arches and decorated ceilings .the rooms are a good size, and most...

This is a huge hotel, geared up to deal with huge touring coach parties, and if you are that sort of traveller, staying one night and leaving early in the morning, I would highly recommend it. The rooms are spotless, the food is piled up high and served fast, and tastes ok if you like that sort of thing. (but...

The top tier of management of the Abades Group must surely be looking at the comments being made about the atrocious catering at this hotel. I can understand their need for a buffet style service because of the vast numbers of their customers come from visiting coach parties. That said, it does not mean that quality and presentation should suffer....

What a shame! Could be good but all stress at meal times. Cold food, very cold plates, empty trays, no eggs, no milk, no butter. The staff at meal times are just not organised and do not seem to be up to it. The trays of food were not regularly filled. I gave up trying to have cereals as there...

What a shame that this beautiful looking hotel with nice rooms serves poor food that is at best only warm and by the time you put this food onto a cold plate and get it back to your table it is stone cold. This is not acceptable for a 4 tar hotel. Management were notified by many other guests and...
