What a stunning place to stay, it's perfectly peaceful! The lodge is the best self catering place we have ever stayed in, they have thought of everything. Everything is so well organised, from the moment we booked everything was thought of for us. The staff in reception are super helpful, thank you so much. The food in the restaurant was...

As usual, the time spent at Melfort recharges the batteries, relieves the stresses of life for a short while and allows you to really relax. With the Shower of Herring open again under new ownership, it is just perfect for a week away.

This was my first visit to Melfort Village in over 20 years, my family having enjoyed a timeshare there from the very early days to the mid-nineties. We lost my Mother last year, and she adored Melfort, so this visit was resonant with nostalgia, happy family memories, cheerful ghosts around every corner. Everything that I remember being great about Melfort...

We had a very enjoyable holiday , staying in a Mews Cottage in Melfort Village. The accommodation was ideal for a family of 6. The Cottage was well equipped and had the bonus of a lovely view of Melfort Loch.

We travelled far the day we arrived, we first spend a few days in London then took a train to Edinburgh where we hired a car and drove all the way to our first 'home' in Melfort Village. The self-catering cottage 'Waybridge' we lived in was well established and waiting for our arrival. The kitchen and living area was of...

Stayed here for one week as an RCI timeshare exchange. Good quality accommodation with excellent attention to health and safety matters. The swimming pool actually had an attendant, and there were in date first aid kits in the apartments, and a defibrillator on site. The location is outstanding with the great Scottish outdoors all around. The only disappointment was the...

The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped. The staff are also very helpful. The main problem with the accommodation is that the on site restaurant is currently closed, however I was told that it will be open again in the New Year.

A timeshare week in the garden cottages (No 1) proved a great base at the beginning of our three-week tour of the highlands and islands. The cottage was spacious and had lovely views down to the loch. There is lots of wildlife in the area and we were pleased with great times with golden eagles and white-tailed eagles. In fact...
