Stayed one night , not a good experience... Amerispsa was ok. but once you went outside to relax !!! people were talking, laughing etc... no silence, plus you heard all the traffic go by (road very close) nothing to relax you.... The room was ok... The lack of personnel, very disorganised.. the restaurant, nobody to check the rules of COVID.. especially in their restaurant, they don't respect the distances between tables, especially tables of 2... They overbook the restaurant, they really don't care .. I have been in many SPA's - this is the worst one yet, when you decide to go to a spa is for peace and quiet and reboot your energy, not stress you out... Amerispa : the changing room is so small you cannot use be more than 2.. ... I had to tell 3 ladies to wait till-my girlfriend and I finishes... weren't very happy... really !! This hotel doesn't reinforce COVID"S rules... Spend your money in another hotel, if you want a real Spa feeling. Never again Norma…
We stayed at the hotel last weekend and although our room was perfect, everything else was ruined due to the hotel’s lack of management with regards to Covid-19 protocols. The dining room was consistently crowded at breakfast and dinner and staff did not control the flow of people anywhere on the property including the pools. We had booked a weekend package to get away and relax but our stay was certainly not relaxing. We feel that the hotel did not do their job to ensure their clients’ safety and had potentially put their guests at risk. In general the weekend was uncomfortable and a waste of money.
Overall this place is beautiful. Nestled in the mountains. Great pool and hot tubs. The rooms are very comfortable and the bbq on the patio is a great addition. The only thing lacking is the wifi in our room. Wifi works great at the pool area but our room where I was planning to teach my classes was non existent. I teach from 6:30am - 8:30am and had to cancel my classes and lose out on my pay due to this inconvenience. I would have taught outside but the pool area only opens at 9am - plus it was 🌧 raining. We tried the Tomahawk restaurant last night and it was fabulous. I would definitely go again. We check out on Sunday Aug 23 and I don’t want to leave. Our waiter was also very attentive and wonderful. The room is spacious. Staff is lovely. Drinks are good. My daughter & her boyfriend are coming in today for the weekend and I can not wait to show them around. I would definitely visit again in the future, but I would probably rent a room overlooking the pool so that the wifi could work and I could teach. The evenings when we return to the room the wifi hardly works in the part of the hotel we are situated in. Other than the wifi everything else is perfect. Thank you Estrimont!…
The start was good. We found a stain on the beds comforter and empty bottles under the bed. They were quick to bring a new comforter and a $25 gift card for their restaurant. What was a surprise though was an extra charge of $86 I found on my credit card. When emailing them to find out why they basically responded that we took the Bluetooth speaker from the room, or stole it in other terms. Thank you Estrimont for accusing your visitors of being crooks... Made the stay so excellent.
We spent Canada’s day long week-end, no needs to mention current covid situation make things a little bit trickier... but Covid doesn’t explain all . Check-in is very long the only have one clerck doing registration, they should have managed to have one extra people helping guests. Maids are not entering the room for cleaning and this is normal due to the situation , but outside windows were not cleaned up, degrading the mountain view, we cleaned outside windows by ourselves . There’s a restaurant linked to the hotel , and you must avoid it at all cost . They have a steak specialty call ‘Tomahawk’ and this is also restaurant name. You have to wait 45 minutes to get it, and it’s not a surprise as it’s mentioned when you’re ordering it. The surprise arrives when the manager come to your table explaining you after 45 minutes waiting , you’ll have to wait another 45 minutes, because they gave your steak to another customer who was in hurry ! Not to mention the waitress closing the curtain near your table, because another customer don’t like the sun, but she’s not polite enough to ask you first.... This restaurant is a ‘toutist trap’ , there’s plenty other place in the area to go .…
