We had great time alpine touring, the hotel is very convenient to the mountain, not cheap, to put in lightly. Dinner at the bistro was good, the other dining venue, Burger Pub was closed both days. Our room was very clean and our bed was comfortable except for bad pillows
I would definitely recommend this nice hotel. Clean room with small well-equipped kitchen. Clean bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel is located near the Mont Orford and the Parc National du Mont Orford. The staff very courteous and helpful.
We had an 'executive suite,' more or less a studio apartment. The bed was comfortable which really matters to me and the staff at the hotel is helpful and very pleasant. There were numerous little maintenance issues which made me decide to use 3* rather than 4*. The heat was either off (a circuit breaker) or made the room too hot. Lighting was either harsh (the living area) or very dim (the bathroom). The sofa bed was amazingly uncomfortable for sitting - no back, just two cushions. We ended up doing dishes by hand for a few days until we asked for fresh towels and someone thought to leave dishwasher tablets. And we had at least 10 small orange beetles per day to hunt down, likely because the window needed caulking or something similar. Covid changed the idea of daily housekeeping, but someone still needs to inspect guest rooms regularly, not just when someone leaves. Just my take on things - great location, btw.…
The property is very nice. From the pool area, to the rooms, to the restaurants. Some hotels talk about higher end room amenities, this one has them. Nespresso machine, excellent hand made local soaps (which we sourced and went out to buy) and a high quality wireless charging bedside clock with Bluetooth capabilities to play you own music from your cell. & the pillows; I worked in the hotels for 12 years and I never found great hotel pillows.....This hotel knows they are good, they sell them & I bought some. I would certainly stay here once again when I am in the area!
Looking at the pictures it seemed marvellous! What a disappointment!! We rented the urban suite. Well, we were surprised… 1- the lighting is TERRIBLE! 2- the Ac was switching from cold to heat in the middle of the night so we were sweating! 3- if you go to the washroom and someone is sleeping in the bedroom the lights just shine right through to the bedroom since there is a sheer window separating the bathroom and he bedroom. Same thing for the kitchen/living room, the fireplace is see through so if you open the lights it shine right through into the bedroom. 4-urban suite looks WAY bigger in the pictures.. We wanted to relax instead it wasn’t a peaceful relaxation spot at all! Barely slept! Should’ve stayed home instead of spending all this money on this place!
1-bistro at night have climatisation problem , so we eat at 26-27 , the keep door open so climatisation doesnt do the job , so eating in nice dressing is not confortable, staff was all sweetting water never cold in ou glass …we would have drink a couple hot brezilian coffe after lunch if it was not so hot 2-breakfest team is awfull, hot water again and cold coffe …. Staff try their best but it shows that they lost it Plus the menu trie to be different but frankly it was disgusting Pool, ouch , small, no shade , no towell, children yelling , it was a nightmare we stayed aroud 15 minutes and we where unable to ear relax du to child yelling an dits echo because its inside and outside No place to relax just drinking cocktail…they should have a little bar to make fun stuff at pool and also need more space , several person have a pool this size in a backyard but for one family…not for a complete hotel Definitly not a 4 stars Staff was polite everywhere no probleme with that.…
We recently stayed here for a 4-day getaway - We chose a suite and we were not disappointed. The kitchen was well supplied with full-sized appliances, the unit was open, airy and bright! The bathroom was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was above the outdoor pub patio but we never heard anything when our patio door was closed - everything was very soundproof! The staff members we dealt with were all very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
I would definitely recommend this place in Orford! The room was clean, well equipped. The front desk staff was very curteous. The hotel is well located near Mont Orford. The only downside were the opening hours/days of the restaurant and of the room service, which closed earlier than mentioned on their website.
Room is big, AC working well, coffee maker in the room. We also enjoyed breakfast in the hotel. We only stayed one night and didn't have time to enjoy pool and jacuzzi but hope to come back some day! Hotel also has parking.
Staff were very courteous and helpful and went out of their way to assist us with our requests and needs. Indoor parking was great and proximity to Orford Mountain was a bonus. Beds were comfortable and washrooms were great.
