We stayed at the Alexandra Court hotel for our wedding in June, we got married at nearby Gawsworth Hall so it was great to find such a lovely hotel close to our wedding venue. The hotel were very accommodating to allow us to reserve rooms well in advance and alter the reservation as the date got closer. We stayed in...

Very nice all round - room (5), staff, service and super breakfast. They were setting up for a wedding on Saturday, it looked like it was going to be great fun - we did wonder about crashing.... The chaps haven't been there that long and have done a great job already, all the best for the future.

Wallpaper was coming off on one wall and cracked tiles in bathroom .staff were very helpful and let us check in early as we were at a wedding near by . Really good value for money and...

Stayed here for a wedding. The staff were very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. The meal was superb, cooked by a brigade who know their stuff. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Really nice. Free wi-fi, limited parking. No real ales damn!

Me and my husband stayed at The Alexandra Court Hotel for my birthday. As we checked in with Mark he was so helpful, he googled places for us to eat and wrote us list of contact details for a few different places which we really appreciated. The hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful and really clean. Our room looked onto...

We recently stayed with a wedding party in this lovely old Victorian house - now a well turned out hotel. There is lovely, but little garden in the back - even though the hotel is in the middle of Congelton. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. It is so small they have a bit of trouble keeping the front...

We stayed at the Alexandra Court hotel for two nights in June 2016 as part of a wedding party. We have four children and so took two rooms (rooms 8 and 9) which have an adjoining door. The Alexandra Court hotel is a very charming hotel which offers an excellent combination of top quality facilities, with the quirkiness of a...

This hotel is wonderful. They go above and beyond to make your event special. I would highly recommend it for any special occasion. We held a baby shower here with afternoon tea- it was fab. The service was spot on as were the wonderful cakes! The hotel is immaculate with lots of attention to detail.

I stayed for one night on a business trip at this hotel and found it to be everything I'd hoped for. It's an old Victorian house which has been modernised tastefully inside but retaining its period features. The extensive, well-planted garden has plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors. My bedroom was the single room overlooking the garden. It was...

Many thanks for your review Melanie - you've summarised the hotel and gardens so well which we really appreciate. We're still planting up the garden (in the vain hope of a summer!). Lilly doesn't often get a mention even though she's always trying to impress our guests - if she could talk she would certainly say a big thank you...
