Living within less than an hours drive we were keen to discover whether the Glazebrook had anything different to offer from similar small hotels in the area. We therefore booked for a night with dinner and breakfast with a voucher in the least expensive room. It soon became apparent that this was very different and definitely worth the money. On...

My boyfriend and I stayed there last weekend. The hotel is amazing and the service is excellent. The hotel is full of personal touches which make your stay unique. The owners have great attention to detail. The staff set an atmosphere of relax and professionalism that is unbeatable.

My husband and I are lucky enough to live walking distance from this very special place. The relatively new owners have turned it into something really special and has to be visited to get the feel of this super hotel. Although, do not be put off by the opulence of it all, as it is actually a very relaxed place...

We spent a night at Glazebrook as part of a Travelzoo deal which included the 8 course tasting menu for two people. We stayed in the Jabberwocky suite. Only gripe is there was no bath but the bathroom was very large with his and hers sinks and fantastic shower/wet room. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. Very generous complimentary...

We went to Glazebrook for the tasting menu at lunchtime on 13th February with some friends. Absolutely fantastic food - delicious flavours, expertly cooked and beautifully presented. Could not have been better. another great meal from our favourite restaurant in Devon. It ticks all the boxes, beautiful quirky decor, attentive service and food and excellence throughout.

We stayed in the White Rabbit room on a dinner bed and breakfast deal. From the beginning the staff were really attentive-nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful (loved the design, lighting, huge bath and complimentary mini bar!!) and food was delicious. The place has real charm and we felt very welcome and relaxed. Would definitely recommend

My wife and myself recently stayed here for an extended weekend break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On arrival, we were allocated the 'Bread and Butterflies' room on the ground floor. We were shown to our room and explained all the workings, which were very different from the normal hotel rooms. Plus the complimentary mini bar. We had a three...

My wife arranged for us both to visit this restaurant to celebrate my 67th birthday. From the moment we walked through the door (opened by Anders) to moment we said our farewells to the staff and the proprietor, Pieter, we were made to feel very special and were met with excellent attention and service. Pre-dinner drinks were creative whilst we...

My husband and I booked the Winter Warmer package last minute to celebrate my birthday on Monday night. We went for the luxury room which cost £299 including dinner, accommodation and breakfast. The decor is beautiful - quirky but not too OTT. We stayed in the Cheshire Cat room which was huge and gorgeous! The lovely chap who checked us...
