We just stayed there for one night, but we wished we stayed longer! absolutely neat place near marahau, hot showers and a nice, tidy kitchen! (knifes that really cut! :D) The beds are so comfy and we felt welcome from the very first second we arrived. The couple is really friendly and caring - couldn't be better :) and they...

We stayed at Kanuka Ridge over Easter in a group of 10 and had the best service anyone could expect. Stu and Andi went out of their way to make our short stop over in Marahau after kayaking the Abel Tasman as easy and comfortable as possible. Very welcoming! The rooms were all clean and tidy, and the setting amongst...

A group of nine of us stayed at Kanuka ridge and were given great hospitality from the moment we arrived. I stayed in a private room with a small deck and was only a short walk to the communal showers and kitchen which were immaculately clean and well-equipped. Although a little out of town the owners were happy to assist...

Lovely place in a great location. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain when we visited so we were thankful of the cosy lounge to watch a DVD! It would be beautiful in the sunshine though and very easy access for the national park.

A little outside of Marahau situated, this hostel provides you with all your needs when staying in the Abel Tasman national park for a few days. Easily accessible by car and the bus can drop you off at the corner. When you do not have a car you can take free bikes for a 10 min. bike ride to Marahau....

Here you feel like your staying out in the bush miles away from anywhere but your only a 10 minute drive from where the activities happen. It's quite and clean. The showers and kitchen are in a separate building from where you sleep but its not to far away. With no light pollution you can sit and look at the...

My partner and I arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by the owners friendly dog. Walking into the reception we were greeted by the unenthusiastic lady who owns the lodge (along with her partner I think). We were first told not to throw a stick for the dog as it was too hot for the dog to be running...
