We had a double room with share facilities. Everything was clean and in very good condition. This place is a little away from the village but that is the reason why you have to take it! Stay in the nature, look in the forest or in the night sky and relax. We stayed four nights and want to stay longer!...

The dogs were so fun to play with! The place was small and cute, in the woods. We were there during an intense storm, and multiple times I thought trees would fall over and break something, but overall it was a lovely place and very clean.

I had a wonderful time at Kanuka Ridge. The rooms and all public areas were spotlessly clean and really nice. Cath and Al, the owners, go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay and all that you need for your Abel Tasman trip. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, whichw as very welcome after hiking the...

Custom designed backpackers with class, for max 20 guests. Beautifully quiet. Excellent kitchen and shared facilities. Spotlessly clean. Room had balcony overlooking fern forest which was lovely. I rented a car and found this a much easier to explore the area as public transport very limited. Walking the Abel Tasman Track which starts nearby was fabulous. Owner offered lifts the...

There are 2 tent sites, on nice grass and kind of hidden, with a table right there. We were the only guests in a tent, which meant it felt like we were really far away from all the busy campsites that are close to Abel Tasman, but still only needed to drive 10min to get to the start of the...

Stayed here for for several nights to explore the Abel Tasman - absolutely gorgeous spot out in the bush, surrounded by nothing but trees and bird song. Absolutely lovely hosts that will help you any way they can. Highly recommend this place, only downside is that you really need a car as it is quite off the beaten track (although...

Located just outside of tiny Marahau, this is an ideal and quiet base for activities in the Abel Tammany NP. With lots of ensuite doubles, it seems more like a good motel than a hostel - but at a very good price! The manager is very friendly and has lots of good tips (and two nice dogs), it is well...

This is a great little spot! Cath the owner is super friendly and helpful! Staying here is like staying with a family friend! The facilities are clean and the cabins give it a very summer camp for adults feel. It is a little bit off the beaten track which can be tough if you don't have a car but the...

This is located in a very serene, beautiful countryside. consists mainly of 3 well-designed, well-maintained houses - rooms, common area, kitchen & toilet. Facilities are well-thought to bring convenience - auto-lighting in the toilet and outdoor areas, self-service laundry machines, swivelling drying rack, instant and abundant supply of hot water, heaters in the room. kitchen is spacious and clean and...

Stayed for 2 nights in a very clean, comfy chalet-style room with shared facilities which were also very clean and well maintained although we could have done with an oven in the kitchen too. Loved the quiet, secluded setting and the proximity to the start of the Abel Tasman track-only a 5 minute drive. Would be hard to get around...
