We stayed in the small cottage 50m from the main B&B property - with a definite Scottish Highland air about it. Jim & Sue are very welcoming and the views from the cottage are truly spectacular. It makes a great base to explore this part of the Abel Tasman coast & the cottage is well equipped for a couple to...

What a sweet cottage! What a view! What congenial hosts! Three nights in the super nice cottage went by much too quickly. Great bed, full kitchen (particularly liked the large cereal bowls), fast wifi, plenty of water pressure in the shower and a washer and clothesline. Would be more than comfortable to stay for a couple weeks. One more reason...

We booked here at the last minute based on the recommendation from fellow travelers, and we were so glad we did! Jim and Sue were absolutely delightful and passionate about their wonderful place in the world. Our room was quite comfortable, clean and spacious. The grounds have been lovingly tended over the years and feature many varieties of fruits, vegetables,...

Jim and Sue are truly passionate hosts in this 'taste of Scotland' accommodation ideally located for enjoying Abel Tasman and Golden Bay. We were so well looked after and brilliantly guided to make the most of our few days stay, to ensure we did the things we wanted to do. Our room and breakfast (with great home baking) was great...

We all want to come away from our vacations refreshed and with good memories. The hosts at Fraser Highlands were such special people. Their welcoming home, filling breakfast and good conversation made this a wonderful experience. We were in the queen bedroom on the second floor of the house. The views from our room of Tasman Bay were spectacular. Our...

This cottage is situated a few minutes' drive outside of Motueka. It has fantastic views over the valley and the sea. It is well equipped for a self-catering stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and provided useful advice on activities in the area. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Sue and Jim, the owners, are lovely and made us feel very welcome. Their rustic cottage is on top of a hill in the grounds of their house, with fabulous views. Access is via a good quality unsealed road. Inside the 1-bedroom cottage there were many thoughtful touches, eg fruit, chocolates, good range of coffees/teas, condiments, cooking oil, magazines, books,...

What we liked: The nice location with great views, the hospitality of our hosts, the nice and clean room (the room was in the house on ground floor), the breakfast, Jim and Sue's sightseeing tips, their support when we had to change our travel plans, ..., everything!

We just loved our stay here. Jim and Sue just " took care of us"!! Their home is their castle and they treat their guests like royalty - they truly care about you. It was our first trip to NZ and we arrived jet lagged and exhausted from west coast USA. They ensured that we arrived at their place safely...

We had a peaceful time at the cottage. Sue and Jim were wonderful hosts, happy to answer our questions about what to do, how to use a wood stove (our first), and how to work the oven in the cottage (there is a secret to the knobs). They actually lived in the cottage while their home was built. If you...
