This lodge came like an oasis in the desert. We tired after walking for 3 days, and a few cold ones just set us right. We also had some and packed some food for the next meal on our hike. They place was beautiful, great staff and service. However, there was hardly any cabinet food on the shelf. They even...

My husband and I had an incredible stay! It all started with the hotel being closed for a conference and we were able to book during that time (due to a glitch in their website) and instead of telling us to reschedule they made it work, all while the architecture conference was occurring. They upgraded us to a beautiful lagoon...

Wonderful food, terrific staff. Beautiful rooms and interesting bird life right off your deck. Fascinating hinking in the area, with opportunity to take water taxi home if you're tired. How much better does it get?

We treated ourselves to a night here while tramping on the Abel Tasman. The rooms were quiet, had everything you could want and gave us a great night's sleep. Outside our balcony was jungle. What a great spot.

We had a great stay at the lodge. Along with a lovely room we had some great help from the staff on suggested walks and activities. The waiting and kitchen staff where particularly great in helping adjust to our requested changes in our meal.

Arriving by boat, you really feel like you are miles away from home. The staff were amazing and the food was what you would expect - Great! We had a standard room, which needs updating. Beautiful spot, you can do as much or as little as you wish.

What a treasure awaits after a long beautiful Hike in the bush at Abel Tasman. The lodge is beautifully located at Awaroa close to the beach. We stayed 2 nights in a private suite with ensuite and the most comfortable king size bed. The main lodge is fantastic with big leather easy chairs a large fire a full bar and...

Lovely to have some luxury after tramping in the rain for three hours. The staff were lovely and the food amazing. Josh's Awaroa Sea Kayak trip a must - a very knowledgable and friendly guide around some incredible scenery!

Couple days trek along coastal path and stunning Abel Tasman national park. Lodge was first hard to find as all signage was for "Awaroa Lodge" and we were looking for Peppers, but once found was a blessing at end of a couple days walking through a cyclone. Eco lodge, so rooms are minimal (no tv on premise) but after a...

Stunning location within the Abel Tasman national park. What a great treat to be able to stay so comfortably in one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on the planet. Would happily return any time.
