Had a voucher to use for this restaurant and it was money very well spent. Starter was fantastic I had scallops and the girlfriend had crab. We tasted each others starters and we both agreed how good they were! Main courses and deserts weren't a disappointed to the standards set by our starters. Presentation was wonderful and can't fault the...

Just home from a wonderful two night break in the charming Hanora's cottage set in the Comeragh mountains. We were given a true Irish welcome by Mary and her staff. After dropping our luggage in our comfortable spacious bedroom we had a cup of tea and homemade cake before heading off walking up the road to the trailhead for several...

We are just home from a two-night stay at Hanora's Cottage. We received a great welcome from Mary Wall and her lovely staff - Ina and Ann. My husband and I have just returned from a really lovely stay here. I rarely write reviews but really wanted to mention what a great little spot this place is, situated in a very quiet and picturesque valley. It is particularly suited for those who enjoy a place just like home from home; a really friendly welcome, tea and cake...

The original plan for visiting Ireland didn't include a visit to Hanora's Cottage. But when I came across it while building the plan I just knew I had to make a diversion. This hunch proved spot on: this is a very special place. For starters: its location is completely unique, set at the end of a very quiet country road...

My husband and I recently revisited Hanoras cottage after 9yrs and the hospitality was as welcoming as it was back then. The breakfast and dinner was lovely with fresh ingredients, simple and delicious. It's in a picture perfect, quiet location on the river with glorious walks close by. The interior itself could do with a little updating but this doesn't...
