First of all, me, my wife and our baby (1,3 months) been there at the beginning of December and the weather was perfect (31 Celsius during the day and 26 during the night, with barely few clouds). The weather was very very warm, because of the tide. In Zanzibar water retracts for 1-1.5 km leaving behind shallow pots of water...

It might not strike you as best place to go, because all agents oversell Jambiani, whichi is in the South-East part of the island, but if you want something chill, serene and both kid- and adult-friendly, then Waridi is great. It's conveniently located on the other, northern part of Zanzibar, close to much-saught Nungwi beach. But there are no other...

We stayed at hotel for 12 nights at the beginning of the january, with goal to relax and experience summer in this period of the year. Waridi resort provided all we needed for that. It is not luxury hotel and don't let number of stars fool you, but for the surrounding ambient it meets all requirements to be 4 stars....

When we arrived in the beginning of July there were not too much people (not only in the hotel, in whole Zanzibar), I thought that it would be boring, because we didn't come in season time... BUT I had a positive disappointment. We were there for 2 weeks, more people came later and more and more and I felt that...

The room (ground floor, garden view) was big enough for 2. Comfortable bed, sufficiently clean, although the bathroom could definitely do with some renovation. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way, although the English knowledge of the concierges - all of them - was somewhat limited. The beach is beautiful, however mark, that you can only swim...
