Stayed here for 1 night on a stopover on the way home. Short drive from the airport, closer that Inverness hotels so cheaper taxi ride - around £8.00 rather that the £20-£25 I am usually charged. Reception is the bar area, met by a pleasant young man and girl. The young man carried my case up the stairs as there...

I was staying at a nearby B&B and this was recommended by the owner. Wow, what a find! I arrived before the restaurant was open however despite being happy to have a drink and wait i was told they would serve me early! They must have seen how hungry I looked! The menu was packed with lots of lovely sounding...

Thank you for your review of your experience dining with us, we pride ourselves on our good food and it is nice to get feedback from customers, lets us know we are doing ok, we make our own garlic bread using the butter from Really Garlicky company from Nairn. Our Sticky toffee pudding is made right here. And I passed...

Very nice hotel outside of Inverness, lovely rooms and a quiet good night sleep. The owner is very friendly and helpful and gets out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Very professional service! Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

A great base for any trip to Inverness or your holiday exploring the highlands. The hotel is located in a small village very close to the airport and is surrounded by Scotland's beautiful scenery! A great alternative to staying in the city itself which is vastly over-priced. An added extra, you'll pass Castle Stuart when you travel to the hotel...

This is a small but very friendly hotel with a cosy bar and restaurant. The room was newly decorated and a fine size. The hotel was being redecorated. Car parking was fine. We had a dinner on arrival and it was first class with very friendly staff. The breakfast was continental the following morning and did the job. It is...

Excellent vegetarian breakfast, including Scottish specialities like (vegetarian) haggis and tattie scones (potato cakes). Very welcoming & helpful management, who stayed up for our late (11:30) arrival. Short taxi ride from airport, yet quiet and worlds away from usual faceless airport hotels. Clean and comfortable rooms. If I were to travel to Inverness again, I would definitely want to stay...

We were struggling to find somewhere to stay in the area & rang the gun lodge after some online searching. Boy were we glad we did, we had a warm welcome & were shown to our room. Think one of the stairways is in the middle of being redecorated, & we were a little skeptical of what the room itself...

We called in last night for a meal. The place was empty. We were served quickly (unsurprisingly) I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio but i am doubtful that is was it was. My partner order the roast and he said it was quite good i ordered the breadcrumbed haddock and chips but requested no salad. When the meal arrived...

I am sorry that you feel you had a bad experience when you visited us for dinner, I am not sure what was wrong with the wine, I personally hand pick the wines and they are of a very high standard from a reputable company, If you ordered a pinot grigio thats what you would have been served, If it...

Staying at B&B nearby: sent here as the only place to eat in walking distance. This may not seem a great recommendation, but we were very well fed; they were able to cope with some dietary restrictions willingly and well. Food well served and of good standard. Might be wise to book - particularly in high season - as we...

My partner and I travelled to Scotland for her birthday to go dolphin watching at Spey Bay. We settled on a stay at The Gun Lodge and were very pleased to get allocated a lovely room with a mahoosive bed and a wet room downstairs. Throughout our stay the staff were wonderful, we really appreciated the welcome they afforded us....
