Feeling the need to live like the artistocrats of old? Want to imagine you have an entire chateau to yourself as a private residence? You can do it here. I loved the classic feel of the hotel from the fabric covered walls, to the inside-outside doorways, to the marble staircase. It was wonderful. They have so many surprises around each... More

This large chateau sits high overlooking the valley and the town of Montbazon. The main level of the Château is elegant. The floor of the huge lobby is marble. Also on the main level is a breakfast room, formal dining room, and library/bar. I found the decor beautiful and in shades of green that was relaxing. The grand staircase is... More

Beautiful castle. Terrible service especially on the food side. We ordered in room dining. It took 90 minutes for the food to arrive, cold and tasteless. Ordered carbonara pasta and dish was delivered without any dressing. Had to call back to have the dressing delivered. Breakfast buffet: average quality and tasteless, no much choice and very expensive for what it... More

We were warmly welcomed to this enchanting chateau and felt drawn into an era of long ago. A perfect stop on our Loire valley road trip. A well-appointed room, incredible dinner and breakfast. Great location while visiting the Chateaux.

The drive up to the Chateau and the anticipation of the reveal was electrifying , the setting in the forest is a delight and the Chateau was stunning. Check your booking to ensure if you are staying in the Chateau or the annex to avoid disappointment. The restaurant is beautiful and food excellent but the service can be erratic. Also... More

We biked around the Loire Valley and we were booked into the chateau d'Artigny on one of our nights. When we rode up to it we were so blown away by the beautiful setting.Inside is equally impressive. Our room was lovely, very spacious and with an updated bathroom.Lots of old French charm. The view was lovely. All good! We played... More

This was our treat during a two week touring holiday of France and we were not disappointed. The staff on arrival were courteous, friendly and helpful. The free room upgrade was unexpected but gratefully received, with the view over the garden and fountain adding to the enjoyment. The property is dated but we felt it was part of its charm... More

Had a wonderful lunch at the Restaurant. We can highly recommend the food. The choice of dishes was good and the wine list was reasonably extensive and good too. The surroundings and gárdens are magnificent.

My husband arranged a night at this hotel as a treat for my birthday and we stayed here during the fabulous hot weather on 19th July. My first impressions were that the hotel and grounds were very impressive, well done hubby for booking this. Check in went smoothly and a bottle of wine was waiting for us in the room.... More

I looked forward to staying at a chateau and in our 3 week trip around France from US this was our least favorite. The bartender didn't speak English well and we ended up with a bill when we checked out for hundreds of dollars for two Cognac drinks. Our dinner at the restaurant was fabulous but the waitress was aloof... More
