Myself and my mum visited Glen Afric for the game drive and night in the lodge room. Glen Afric is a sanctuary for rescued and orphaned animals or animals saved from poachers. We found the staff to be genuine, friendly and very informative. Rochelle, our game drive guide, was passionate and knowledgeable. Our experience interacting with the three elephants was...

We are both fans of the series "Wild at Heart" which is filmed on location in South Africa. In 2013 we decided to go and stay at the lodge where a lot of the filming took place (Glen Afric). I proposed on the steps of Leopard's Den (apologies to those who haven't seen the programme) and following our wedding last...

An amazing place close to Johannesburg and Pretoria. Took us 35 minutes from Krugerdorp. An old rustic venue in the bush which is well maintained and serviced by exceptionally friendly staff. If you want an interaction with wild animals, this is the place!

A truly wonderful experience, we have now been back 3 times. Super friendly guides take you by safari vehicle to where the elephants are situated that day, and you can photograph them, touch them, while they are in their own environment. They wonder around according to how they feel like, and eat tree branches in front of you.. Also back at...

The lodge is great for anyone wanting to do the wild at heart tour, which is the main reason we went. When we arrived we were down by the hippo dam which was a great location however as we didn't have a car it was very difficult and so the following day we moved up to the lodge which had...

This place is absolutely stunning! We stayed here for a family wedding and the day couldn't have gone any better. We stayed in one of the stable blocks, room was clean however there was no shower curtain in the bath or non slip mat, and so the bathroom was saturated after having a shower. Staff were very friendly especially lady...

This place had been recommended to us by friends so we went for lunch. Buffet was very average by the time we got our food. Desserts all gone and the replacement brought was not good. The idea if a buffet is ok but there needs to be plenty of food as the average person eats twice as much in this...

What a beautiful resort, absolutely amazing. Words fail how to describe this wonderful "8th wonder of the world ". The lodge had all your home comforts and more, with stunning views as an added bonus. The sun set was amazing, which totally transformed the stunning views of the park. The food was awesome and very plentiful. Finally, all the staff...
