I stayed here with my boyfriend and his family and we had a great time. There was a fair amount of entertainment and lots of activities during the day. the evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss but overall enjoyable, the animation team all work from first thing in the morning until midnight or later so I wouldnt expect...

So nice to get back to this hotel situated above a fantastic beach and well away from busy towns and shops. Perfectly located on a southerly facing slope mostly sheltered from the prevailing NE winds. The hotel layout with well spaced small accommodation blocks and tropical gardens make the hotel special. Rooms are spacious and many have been refurbished but...

My wife and I stayed here for the October midterm break. This was our fourth visit in the past two years. This is because it is such a good hotel. It is on the beach, which stretches for mile after mile. It is a large complex that never feels crowded. Several large swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers and...

This all-inclusive hotel is built on the side of a ravine, which is not immediately obvious from the publicity, therefore there is a steep climb from the beach, pools and lunch restaurant to the main building and to many of the rooms, so people with limited mobility may find it a bit hard going. Our room, bathroom and balcony were...

Booked last minute for rest & relaxation. Facilities were good as was location. Weather was excellent and evening entertainment surprisingly good with exception of Brazilian night which was presented twice in 3 days. Unfortunately the food and hygiene were awful. I had read the reviews and decided to risk it. Food is a subjective issue. What one person likes another...

First of all this is not a all inclusive, I think its false marketing. I was here for a week and I did have a okej time but the hotel WAS NOT the reason for that. I booked through a agencie and their reviews were fantastic.. How is this possible? I think its mostly because its an old hotel and...

Hotel was clean and service ok. Some parts are worn but Essencia side better. All inclusive has 2 level, both ok for a family like us. Dinner restaurang better for eating as another has birds inside. Hotel provides evening programs but sound does not disturb at all. Sotavento is one of the best beaches on the Island and is only...

We have been coming here for over 10 years and feel you can't beat the location and atmosphere - perfect for a quiet and relaxing break - but it really does need to have the rooms redecorated and a bit more spent on upkeep generally. Food is good, staff are lovely but the place really is starting to look a...

Luckily for us when we checked in they put us in Essencia which is a separate part of the hotel. We didn't actually realise this until our second day when a lovely couple told us our bands meant that we had our own restaurant and pool. I'm so glad we stayed in this part as the pool was smaller and...

I had no expectations what so ever, but everything turned out to be very good! if you wanted to sleep in, you could choose "late breakfast", activities going on all the time which you could participate in if you felt like it. Food and drinks available all day long. clean pool areas and friendly service. Doctor visiting the hotel mo...
