We stayed for a few nights in July 2015 at the Hosteria Catalana before hiking in the Pyrenees with a group of Icelandic hikers. The hotel is situated in Bossost, a small village in the North of Spain. the hotel is built in the traditional style of the region and is situated at the end of a small, calm street....

The welcome to this hotel was really personal and helpful. The room was adequate but the 2* rating is the best it could achieve . However the breakfast was probably the best we have ever had anywhere in Spain or France. It was very quiet but we were the only guests!!

We are a group of 10 cyclists and made Hotel Catalana our base for 3 day-trips through the Spanish and French Pyrenees in September 2013. Ideal if you’d like to climb mountains like the Col du Menté, Aspet, Superbagnières, Peyresourde, Portillon etc.. Bossòst is a lively village with dozens of little shops selling local produce, several small supermarkets and plenty...

Second stay at this hotel this year, which must say something in its favour. This time we were travelling with friends, who had a room at the front of the hotel while our room was at the back, still with a view up the mountain behind. Unfortunately our room was a bit smelly, possibly due to cleaning products though whatever...

Had a good overnight stay on the way further south. Bossost is a picturesque stopover. Welcome at hotel was warm and friendly despite language barrier. Room comfortable though a bit dated but great view of snow-capped peaks. We were only guests the Sunday we stayed and restaurant not open in evening. Had hoped to eat at highly-recommended Er Occitan restaurant...

I stayed here in February of 2012 with 3 girlfriends. The weather was cold and this charming hotel was a warm and friendly oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the owners/staff were wonderful. This town is charming and certainly worth the visit. I highly recommend both the hotel and a visit to this town!
