This is a review of the accommodation as opposed to the restaurant itself. My colleague and I stayed here while away on a conference. The pub itself looks very cosy and inviting, it's a shame the rooms don't live up to this. All rooms are themed with us staying in the Savanna

I went to the Ivy House to meet a friend for a quick, light lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped me make an informed choice as I follow a dairy and gluten free diet. Had the goat's cheese starter, which was lovely.

I stayed here for one night to avoid the M25 in rush hour. The welcome was friendly, the room well appointed, quiet and comfortable. The dinner menu was not extensive but I had a very good steak with good service. This is a good place for an overnight stay but be aware it is not

It’s 10 miles, and you will use the M25 for a short period, but leave about 40 minutes for the journey, the HP Studios are signposted as you get near.
