This hotel is a very nice place to stay the room was comfortable and the bar area was very nice. Gave it a 3 due to the shower not being delimed at all by the looks of it. Also dinner we had was great even tho the waitress gave us the wrong order and then changed it. The breakfast was...

The welcome is good. The young lady with the glasses and lady with the tattoos are friendly and efficient. Try the garden, a great place to veg with a beer and snack. A real sun trap. They have a extensive selection of ales, wines and spirits. The burger is very tasty. A well run pub-restaurant-hotel.

We need to entertain guests soon so decided to try out local restaurants. The Ivy House was number one so we gave it a try. The ambiance and staff were very good but the food was not as I had expected. I had the beef in red wine pie which looked appetising. It was full of mushroom (??) the meat...

Great find and a great place for a meet up group to discuss life and drink tea. I ordered a 2 course lunch and wasn't disappointed. In fact I couldn't finish my gammon! Would definitely head back there.

Stayed here as needed to be near Chalfont St Peter for meeting relatives. The rooms are slightly old-fashioned but comfortable. We rang once we were near as you walk straight into the public bar, and we were shown to our room immediately. The stairs may be inconvenient for older people. We chose a cooked breakfast the following morning which was...

Our family stayed here for a wedding that was taking place near by. We took 4 of the 6 rooms. They kindly made a room available early as we had all travelled from different places that were quite a distance away. We were able to all get ready and then went off to the wedding. we had been given a...

We visited the Ivy for a birthday meal on Saturday evening after a friend had recommended it. The restaurant side was taken over by a wedding and we were seated in the bar/lounge area. If we had known this would happen we would have eaten elsewhere as a dinner in a bar was not we had expected on this occasion....

Nice friendly pub :-) Friendly staff. 'Vintage' style. It's a Fullers so London Pride is on tap. They had a nice 'Spring Sprinter' when I was there. Didn't have lunch but menu looks good. 3 or 4 gin choices - Bombay, Hendricks, Gordon's and a the usual other spirits. Free wi-fi. Would definitely recommend.

We visited recently on a Saturday evening as a family group for a Birthday meal. The welcome was friendly, the atmosphere likewise and despite being very busy the service was excellent. The wine prices were a little higher than expected for a country pub but the food was of a very high standard. Everyone enjoyed their meals, particularly the fish...

We stayed here for one night, last night. Loved the whole experience. Room was fine, setting was beautiful. Staff were friendly and happy. Food was AMAZING. Had the best burger I've ever had. Would love to come back and stay again! Good choice of breakfast and very relaxed atmosphere both on the evening and following morning. Really can't say enough...
