This is the second time we stayed at the Blue Tin Roof. Very clean and modern facilities. Very welcoming atmosphere. Nice to be out in the country, there are some hiking trails nearby and beautiful scenery. An easy 30 minute drive into Antigonish (perfect for visiting St. FX parents). Will definitely stay again next time we are out that way

What a charming B&B. Victor was a wonderful host. We stayed in the beach room which was very comfortable, nice decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We enjoyed very much the hospitality shown to us and we can highly recommend this B&B.

Throughout our recent August trip in Maine and Nova Scotia, my husband and I--both in our late sixties--stayed in many B&B s, where the yards were well kept, the owners were friendly, and the rooms were clean. As former Peace Corps volunteers, we have traveled extensively in Central and South America, North Africa, Australia, and, of course, the U.S., but...

We do sympathize with the unforeseen occurrences you experienced before arriving; which we were not aware of. The duration of your visit at our door was a few short minutes. During that brief time, the extraordinary litany of acute observations that was deduced is impressive. There was a miscommunication between the Visitor Information Center and the guests that led to...

This Bnb was perfect for my wife and I. The house strikes the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern conveniences. The owners are kind and charming. We loved the European style breakfast. There are beautiful sights and lots of wildlife in the area. We even got up close and personal with a deer.

We were in the nearby area and found everything was fully booked. This B&B was recommended to us and we were lucky to get the last room. After a short drive in the dark and we were warned about the winding roads we arrived. Our host Vic met us when we pulled in. The purpose built home/B&B is beautiful inside...

Arrived after dark , and were immediately welcomed into their home. We reserved the last room in the house. It was very comfortable, Although there was no where for us to sit in our room or in the breakfast area, so our only choice was to go to bed! The host asked us to remove our shoes, and being respectful,...

As the room you stayed in is our economy room, it is quite modest in size. We do have a padded bistro chair in the room and could have provided another, so that you could have stayed up and enjoyed your evening. Folks that would like to socialize are welcome to use the breakfast area. Our only request is to...

This is a lovely accommodation! My room was quiet and comfortable with a patio door to an outdoor sitting area. The bathroom had a great claw foot tub with shower and the room overall was light and airy. Two very minor drawbacks though. ... there was no tissue in the room and I was surprised that there were no travel...

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the quiet location and access to your covered patio. The separate antique tub and walk-in tiled shower is a feature of the Lake room that appeals to guests. We have made our rooms a little less cluttered, but do provide ample toilet tissue and shower gel for guests. Over the years we have...

Luckily for their visitors, Vic and Nadine have opened their home to B&B guests looking for a secluded getaway. Even though we arrived late - probably many people do, as the location is quite isolated - Vic gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Our room (the Beach room) was on the main floor and...

What a great experience. Victor is a lot of fun and very well read (ask him about the reason behind current world events and why they are happening). The home is EXCEPTIONALY clean and the breakfast is fresh and nutritious. They are on the 'Sunrise Trail' so there is a lot of unbelievable sights to see and enjoy...take your camera...

We enjoyed 3 very peaceful nights here. Victor, the owner is probably the best B&B owner I have ever met. Gracious and always ready to help. Nice breakfast. The view of the valley and mountains goes on forever, especially from the Lake Room which we stayed in. Our room had everything and was meticulously clean. Highly recommend.
