My wife and I recently visited the archipelago Saint Pierre et Miquelon located off the southern coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. During our three-night stay, we chose the Auberge Saint Pierre as our accommodation and we are glad we did. This family-run business knows how to provide service to its guests. The family has been hosting visitors since 1963. Located about a 10 minute walk from the water front in Saint Pierre, the auberge presents a welcoming charm the minute you enter the building. Pierre, the grandson of the woman who first began a B&B in 1963, is a natural in this business. Interactions with him were easy and relaxed. We had the suite during our stay and it was so very comfortable. It has a firm king-size bed, one of the most important criteria for us. Very spacious with two sit-down areas, and a large, bright, modern bathroom with shower, Breakfast was provided as part of the room cost and it was delicious. Continental in nature with very good coffee, various fruit juices, fresh pastries delivered that morning, granola, fruit, yoghurts, etc. Given that we were feasting on rich, delicious French food in the evenings, the extensive continental breakfast was perfect. Hanging on the back of the bathroom door were two really comfortable post-shower gowns, leading me to end this review with a cheesy pun. Thanks for the Robes Pierre. We highly recommend the Auberge Saint Pierre to anyone visiting SPM. Be sure to book early because many others share our opinions of this establishment.

From the moment we chose L'Auberge Saint. Pierre we were treated like royalty. Communication was immediate and Pierre was extremely pleasant, accommodating, warm and personable. He greeted us at the ferry and we were made to feel completely welcomed and at home. A wonderful note accompanied a lovely bottle of wine in our room, mentioning details we had spoke about through our emails- it meant a great deal to me! The hotel is absolutely lovely, immaculate and in a quiet location in St. Pierre. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. We HIGHLY recommend L'Auberge Saint Pierre for your stay in St. Pierre. You will not be disappointed and you undoubtedly be sad to leave. Thank you for wonderful memories!

From the host picking us up at the ferry to him showing us around his place, right down to the complimentary wine and cookies and water, the whole experience was wonderful. The room was beautiful, and plenty of space too! Very clean room. Easily accessible to town. I would recommend to family and friends. Thank you for taking care of us!

Exceptional service, lovely room, great location! Pierre provided important info for visiting the island before we arrived. So we knew to make reservations for dinner in advance of our arrival. His recommendations were spot on! The entire experience made us feel as if we were in a corner of France.

Host is friendly and helpful and offers a shuttle service. Very clean hotel and rooms with comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast of fruits and yogurt with fresh hot croissants and pastry from bakery. The hotel is a nice walk to the waterfront and restaurants. I definitely would come back and recommend a stay here while visiting St Pierre.

I spent two nights at the Auberge Saint-Pierre. The Auberge is comfortable, very clean, provided a lovely breakfast of pastries and fruit and juice and coffee/tea. The Auberge is conventiently located near streets that continue to the waterfront and pass by two of the nicest restaurants on the island. Pierre was so helpful, providing information about St. Pierre to get me started on my explorations. I can't recommend the Auberge St. Pierre highly enough!

I have always wanted to visit St Pierre and had the opportunity to do that this month. My friend and started planning our trip in March, and I contacted a few place in St Pierre looking for a room with two beds Pierre at The Auberge St Pierre answered my email right away and was very helpful We decided to book two standard rooms . All of my interactions by phone and email with Pierre were very professional, welcoming and very helpful We were offered a pick up at the ferry terminal and when we arrived , Pierre was waiting for us The accommodations were spotless, very comfortable , cozy and suited both of us perfectly . A continental breakfast was included and there were freshly baked croissants and pastries delivered to the Auberge every morning. What a treat!! Pierre went out of his way during our three day visit to make sure we had everything we needed , and was always willing to give us advise on places to eat and visit on the island We were both so impressed with Pierre’s attention to detail, his professionalism and dedication to ensuring that his guests were comfortable and well looked after If I have the opportunity to return to St Pierre, I am definitely staying at the Auberge! Thank you Pierre for all you did to make us feel welcome and comfortable

My friends and I had an amazing stay at the Auberge in St. Pierre. Owner Pierre went out of his way to answer every single question we had (and we had a lot), and went above an beyond by offering rides whenever we passed him on the street. Don't let the location on the map scare you, its only about a 7-10 min walk to the downtown core where the restaurants are, and there are 2 grocery stores within a 5 min walk. Without hesitation I would stay here again, and recommend to anyone.

We LOVED L’Auberge St. Pierre when we stayed there in October 2021. It’s so French! The rooms are immaculate, the breakfasts, especially the croissants and pastries are scrumptious, and the location is perfect for exploring St. Pierre. The proprietor/host, Pierre really added to the experience for us. He drove us to and from the ferry, gave us restaurant tips before we arrived AND let us practice our grade 12 French without laughing. We did our own walking tour while we were there based on the map Pierre provided and also rented bikes one morning which we recommend. You need to do your research ahead of time regarding the ferry schedule and necessary reservations, as well as COVID protocols for getting in and out of St. Pierre but hopefully that won’t last forever.
