We had a delightful four-night stay at Auberge Saint-Pierre. Pierre was genuinely pleasant and extremely helpful, from picking us up at the ferry terminal to answering our many questions. The entire experience was exceptional. We hope to come again! Cheers, Kevin & Anne

We stayed at Auberge Saint-Pierre for 3 nights in September 2023. It was a perfect stay. The hospitality shown by Pierre & Cecile was outstanding. From a seamless pickup at the airport, to the welcoming tray of wine & treats, to the lovely breakfasts provided, to the warm welcome from our hosts, it was a delight. The location is ideal and the room was spotless and most comfortable. Our visit here really helped make our trip to Saint-Pierre most special.

This establishment is why we don’t give 5 stars easily. There has to be a way to reflect that some places, like this one, are extra special. The innkeeper has a true vocation of welcome. The premises are charming and spotless, and the room was very comfortable and efficient. This was a wonderful place to stay to visit this remarkable presence of France on our North American doorstep.

St. Pierre & Miquelon is rapidly becoming a go to destination for travellers interested in exotic locations. It is a small French collective with less than 7,000 residents of whom 90% live in the town of St. Pierre on the island of the same name. Accommodations are scarce which means prices are higher than one might expect, but if you can snag a room at Auberge St. Pierre, grab it. Pierre the manager will pick you up at the ferry terminal or airport. The location is great at the top of town in a very quiet area, but only ten minute walk from the waterfront and restaurant row. Nice continental breakfast with fresh croissants. Good internet and a fridge. Half bottle of red wine is a nice touch. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but friendly and cozy. One nice touch is the courtesy phone at reception. Most North American phone plans don't work for local calls so having this phone to call taxis, make reservations etc. is a definite plus.

This place was perfect for our family. It was conveniently located within a two minute walk of a grocery store and another one a little further. It was also close to the Basques Festival area and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Upon arrival Pierre was right there to pick us up and super friendly. There was wine, biscuits and chocolate in our room. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. While there is no air conditioning they do have a fan available. There is a small fridge. The continental breakfast was amazing with fresh pastries every morning. If anyone rates this place as anything other than a 5 or 4 they must be super particular. We highly recommend!

Excellent accommodations! Rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners provide a welcome bottle of wine, chocolates, and biscuits upon arrival. There is a lovely selection of toiletries provided as well. The complimentary continental breakfast is delicious, and included fresh bread, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. The owner/operator is incredibly kind and gracious, and he provides pick up and drop off at the ferry terminal. Highly recommended and would stay again!!

The host provided all the amenities. The continental breakfast was perfect. The host of the place couldn't do in enough for us. Everything was very clean and it was so quiet into the evenings. Very charming place.

Everything about our stay was delightful! The reservation process was seamless and Pierre answered my email questions quickly. When we arrived, Pierre greeted us in French and English (which is excellent) and answered all our questions about what to do and where to go. Our room was lovely and spotless. The breakfasts were delicious. It felt like a true French experience. I highly recommend Pierre and Auberge St. Pierre!

We loved everything about this place. We were met at the ferry by Pierre and driven to the inn. He explained the locations of various places in the city center. The room was clean and lovely. The breakfast was pastries, fruit and yogurt. We easily walked to the city center. It is hilly. On checkout day , Pierre drove us back to the ferry landing.
