Ernest and Michelle were so accommodating and helpful. The views are breathtaking and there's so much wildlife to see just on the property. They've left the areas down to the River untouched except for a strip to walk through. We're birders and were thrilled to see so many sunbirds, bee-eaters and on one day ground hornbills.

We just stayed one night at River Crossing, but liked it a lot. Our room was nice, the breakfast very good - we even enjoyed a game of table tennis afterwards. :-) Pity we didn't have the time for a swim in the pool (which has a great view). Fiona and Ian were very nice and helpful and took care...

Can't recommend this location too highly. Superb value, breathtaking views, peaceful tranquility, perfectly well appointed chalets with good beds and cracking showers and a friendly welcome and attentive, informative service from Ian & Fiona. A shame it couldn't be for more than 3 days but reality beckons.........

Very nice place, wonderful location and views from the patio. The rooms are perfect, everything is made with love and attention. The breakfast was really good (we were a big group of 16 people): fruit salad, cakes, eggs, sausages! The territory of the lodge is very interesting, we spotted several hares and birds. 15 minutes ride from the lodge there...

The B&B is very nice and comfortable for a family holiday, the view is relaxing, spacious for kids to play and run around. The owners Dr Ernest and Michelle are very wonderful, the booking was easy and excellent. Upon arrival all was well, and Ian and Fiona seemed very nice until close to departure, we were made to feel like...

Interesting b&b with lovely large chalet, with beautiful views The managers Ian and Fiona could not have been more helpful telling us where to eat. On the Sunday they even cooked breakfast for us as everywhere was closed. This is a good base to visit the mountains in several directions. Good swimming pool.

We really had such a lovely, peaceful time. The cottage was spotless and so comfy. Great view. And we also appreciated the friendly and warm hospitality we received throughout our stay from Ernest and Michelle. Just a pity that we couldn't stay longer to experience the snow! We will definitely stay over again. Ernest and Michelle are such gems. We...

It's always a struggle to find nice pet-friendly accommodation so River Crossing was a great discovery! The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The setting is perfect with great views and walking trails. Our spaniels loved it! The accommodation itself was nice however the space has been used as a B&B on the occasion and so there were no comfy...
