Visited after lockdown 1 ended and we had the best day ever! Firstly the staff.. They were fantastic extremely welcoming and accomodating. Always checking in with us to ensure we were enjoying our day. Treatments - fantastic we thoroughly enjoyed them. Facilities - absolutely top notch. Extremely clean and 100% covid secure! Refreshments throughout the day were delicious. Ive visited many spa's and Fairlawns is certainly my new favourite. Ive booked to return for an overnight stay and Spa for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary in December ❤️

Myself and wife have been to the Fairlawns four times since the beginning of August and spent £221.75 in Bar 178, Today we decided to pop in for a quick drink at 15.30. We went into the bar area and saw the same woman who is always ‘front of house’ and seems to ‘run the show’. I asked if we could go into the bar for a drink as we had been referred to her by the guy on reception. She asked if we were residents at the hotel, which we aren’t as we live locally. She then said, ‘ We are really busy’ I told her that there appeared to be plenty of empty tables and she said, ‘They keep coming in and out’ and we were denied access! We therefore decided to go to the Plough and Harrow on the Chester Road which was in fact very busy but the welcome couldn’t have been more different. We were quickly shown to a table and the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. I know where I will be spending my money in future, pandemic or no pandemic!

Unfortunately in anticipation of the announcement from the government lockdown we had a large number of bookings for residential stays and restaurant/bar tables. This meant we reached the capacity for the venue under our Covid saftey rules. In the best interests of the team and our customers; we had to close the bar to 'walk-in' custom. As a regular customer perhaps you could give us some benefit of doubt in these extreme circumstances. Please be reassured that it is not our style to turn people away. In this instance we were just trying to do best. If you send me a direct email (johndp@fairlawns.co.uk) I will arrange for the first round on me next time you pop in.

Had a lovely day, really well set up for social distancing (max occupancy 20), changes to menus to allow for table service gave some really tasty options, all area sparkling clean and clear instructions given to comply with the new normal. We were really well looked after and will hopefully return soon.

Had been bought an afternoon tea as a present so decided to go for a massage as well before the afternoon tea. Great experience throughout. All staff we encountered throughout were polite, friendly and helpful. Swedish massage was superb (thanks Jade and Isobel!) and hugely relaxing. The afternoon tea was probably the best we've ever had anywhere and the service first class (thanks Josh!). We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and plan to return soon.
