We really enjoyed our stay here and made a huge contribution to an unforgettable time in Tena. We had a double room with shared bathroom but low season meant fewer guests so we never found ourselves waiting on the bathroom. The kitchen area is nice on the top floor with awesome views and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast one of...

My room with shared bathroom was large, clean, and attractive. I appreciated the coat hooks from which I hung clothes to air out, and the shelf by the door. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen was small. Luckily only one other person was cooking when I was. My only complaint is that the bed was hard the sheets were clean...

visited 01/2015 An overall excellent place to stay. The hostal is not very much in the centre, but as Tena is not that big, everything you could possibly need is in walking distance. The rooms were very clean and great for sleeping without noise. The owner is extremely helpful, he gave us lots of tips / recommendations, he even drove...

Our room on the top floor had an amazing view! The owner only charged my mom and I for two persons the first night we were there even though I booked a room for three people for two nights, my girlfriend showed up only for the second night. The rafting down the Jatunyuca River was super fun! The prices for...

Michael has done a fine job on this hostal - quiet, nice views, clean, well appointed, good baths, nice kitchen, very good wifi, excellent guides for the jungle and rivers, and affordable! It was just perfect for us!

We stayed here only one night, but were very satisfied with the service we received: 8 dollars per person for a double room with shared bathroom (this are the published prices til the end of 2015), towels are included, wifi worked great, also in the room (best WIFI so far in Ecuador). We left the hostel at 22:30 the next...

We stayed at hostel Limoncocha for four nights. Breakfast was great for a few extra dollars and kept us full through a morning of kayaking. The owner was very nice to take us to the bus station and help us buy tickets. Everything was kept clean although there were some small ants in our room. As others have mentioned the...

I don't normally write reviews however I was impressed with this well organised and super clean hostel. This hostel was definitely one of the best hostels I stayed at in Central and South America on my one year trip. The showers were hot, the wifi was available all over the building, and it was great value. Well done to Michael...

We read about the hostel in our travel guide and decided to book. One of the main reasons being to not have problems making our self understood. We wanted to do some rafting but since my girlfriend feel ill Michael called around to find a group in could join. He even lent me a pair rainproof pants for our jungle...

Found this place after we'd already checked into another hostel and immediately booked a room for the rest of our stay in Tena. It's only a few blocks from the "main" streets in Tena but has GREAT views and seems much quieter. The beds/baths were clean and comfortable. Hammocks stretched out on the balconies for relaxing. Loved the open-space feel...
