Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. No electricity & quite quaint to use candles for lighting. You need to bring a torch to navigate from the dining area back to your cabin at night
Food could be a lot better - pretty boring & no good at dealing with special requests eg allergies /intolerances.
Was disappointed by the limited amount of wildlife we saw on our night & day walks

Thank you for your comment. We're sorry had bad experiences, normally it is no problem to deal with allergies and special requests in our Lodge, if you inform the reception or kitchen beforehand. Yet we hope you will come back one day! Kind regards, the Liana Lodge team.

Liana Lodge is located within a protected area of more than 4,000 acres along the mighty Napo River. The accommodations are ecological and intentionally designed to put you in harmony with nature. No electricity in rooms means guests can relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding jungle. We saw at least 25 monkeys swinging in the trees near the lodge. Cabins are well-maintained and very clean, with hardly any mosquitoes. Service is excellent and the location can't be beat -- only 45 minutes to an hour from Tena, with easy and fun transport via motorized canoe. Had an excellent time here.

We stayed for only two nights, but that is enough to get a good impression of the rainforest.

At the side of the Arajuno river you get picked up by a long canoe. Nice trip on the river to the lodge.

We were welcomed by a German get. who volunteers for a year overthere. He explained us how everything works out there in the jungle. The two Swiss guy we met later. Very nice guys who do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We stayed in a cabaña which was totally poisoned against the u

Liana Lodge seemed hard to reach at first but get good directions and it will be worth it! You need to take a boat ride out to the lodge once you reach the parking area. You will pass the Amazoonica. Look for monkeys and make sure to spend an afternoon there during your stay. Beautiful structures and cool locally carved furniture. The food was my favorite here! You are treated well. Daily tours and relaxation is the agenda here. Kind of rustic rooms but you are fore-warned if you read the reviews. You are in the Amazon Rainforest afterall! Must take a night hike and a jungle tour about medicinal uses of the native flora! Take a private boat ride upstream at sunset or float on tubes to mix it up.

How many guests can your lodge accommodate?
Answer from Liana L
Estiamadas, our Lodge can hold up to 43 guests, with one queen size and one single bed in each cabana. Since there are a lot of single room reservations, we usually have around 10 - 25 guests at a time. Saludos cordiales Leo
