Absolutely can't fault the staff here, they are all so gracious and kind and made us feel very welcome. Our room was on the edge of the river and surrounded by trees and flowers and masses of butterflies of all colours.. We spent 3 nights and it was a bit of a novelty not having electricity in our room, however...

We enjoyed our stay, it is fancier than we expected for an Amazon lodge as we are used to camping and hostels. The guides are knowledgable and willing to help with developing your Spanish. Most people at the lodge speak in English and it seems as though they are expected to. I'm not quite sure what people are moaning about,...

Dear Sarah, Thank you for your comments. As you said the road has a down side, but also a plus side. We hope the ease of access outweigh the noise that the road may cause at times. It is good to hear that you had a nice and relaxing stay with us and enjoyed the jungle experience. Kind regards.

Really great setting on the Napo river. However, for check in and the first night, the place was being run by a young lady who spoke no English and did little other than hand out a key when we interrupted her use of her smart phone. No information re dinner or breakfast or the next day's activities. The beds are...

Dear Guest : Thanks for your feedback , I am so sorry that you had complications during their stay , we are looking to find out what happened to our service, because usually this is very good quality . We hope you can return to compensate for the bad time.

They have delivered what they said they would. However they really need mosquito nets over beds. Cottages near the river are so noisy. Every crawling thing around you is so loud at night, that noise plus the river is little too much at night, but you get used to it after 1-2 days. They have really good happy hour specials...

Dear Guest: Thank you for your coments, really we are not in the jungle deep, we try to give to our clients an experience the closest to the jungle. However thank you for your observations we'll work in that. Thank you.

As with many other reviews I can't overplay how good this lodge was to stay in. Everything worked well, with excellent service across all areas. There's no wifi (which did cause cold turkey for some!-) and no electricity in the lodges themselves (oil lamps supplied) but that all adds to the correct "feel" of an Amazon Lodge which is away...

We had an amazing time at the lodge. The concept of an ecological hotel is amazing especially when in the rainforest. It feels like you are really apart of nature. Very relaxing and the ability to experience wildlife right from your room is amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Always giving us tips and information about the area...

I stayed here with my Intrepid Travel group and loved it. It rained heavily the whole time which was a shame, but we made the most of it. We were meant to go see a nearby waterfall but instead we went for an unforgettable rainforest walk. when we got back we made chocolate from scratch in the common room area....

The services at Cotococha Lodge were tremendous. Staff were well informed of onsite guests and programs. They suggested other activities around the community according to guest interests and preferences; the property was well maintained; housekeeping kept the cabins clean and comfortable; the meals offered had attention to local food choices presented with style. Transportation by local bus, car/taxi and air...

It is an ecological hotel, without electrical connection except for the reception. The gourmet food is good, but do not include any drinks. The bar has a happy hour, I recommend the Pina Colada that makes Pepe. In activities, the cascade of Latas is cute but not as great as one would imagine and the visit to the indigenous community...
