Surprise to find this oasis behind a wall in a typical dusty town. Immaculate garden with labelled plants. Huge clean suites (maybe a bit too large and impersonal?). Very nice swimming pool. Also spa etc but we did not indulge. Low season so disappointingly we were the only guests rather rattling around in the big spaces, but staff very helpful...

I checked in and had a main request - working internet in the room. Yeah, I know, but I had no internet for almost a week and was looking forward to speaking with my family back home from this hotel which I was told had stable internet. After reiterating this request, I went to my room which of course had...

Good experience for Karatu, we loved our really big, nice equipped Serengeti Suite! Good service, friendly stuff, big Pool in an awesome garden! Best to relax after a safari day, near to crater! Nice food, reasonable prices and a wonderful bar to meet interesting people at a fireplace. Best advice for Karatu with reasonable prices

We were very pleasantly surprised to find this place hidden behind a wall. It was like a hidden paradise for exotic plants and birds on the edge of a dusty and otherwise unremarkable small town. Yes the internet was weak but you're not exactly in the neighborhood of a fiber optic connection. The grounds were lovely, if a touch hard...

Nice hotel with kind of labyrinth to rooms. Big rooms/cottages. Less personal. Breakfast buffet OK. Dinner buffet at 7 level. We did not make use of the swimming pool although it looked OK. WiFi dis not work properly only at central (outdated) ICT office.

Stayed 1 night at kudu. The facilities were excellent and had the best hot water and pressure from all our stays. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean, large and well ventilated. Our stay was short but we were v happy with it. Typical lodge feel.

I stayed at Kudu Lodge with my family and the experience was just out of this world! The room was spacious, well kept and the ambiance gave us the warmth we needed away from home. The sound of the birds singing in the morning gave us the peace and tranquility we so much needed away from the hutsle and butsle...

We stayed here two nights during our trip to Tanzania. We had a double bed room that was magnificent. Spacious with everything you need. Windows open up to allow the beautiful weather come through....fireplace in the room in case it is a cold night...mosquito net, obviously. The grounds are gorgeous! The plants and flowers make you feel like you are...

We stayed here at Kudu Lodge for 3 nights in February and would have loved to stay longer. Turning off the dusty road into a large courtyard we were warmly welcomed by the staff with a refreshing drink and hot towels before being swiftly checked in and shown to our villa. The lodge consists of individual villas accessed along narrow...

I was living in Karatu for 5 weeks, volunteering in a local hospital, FAME and had the opportunity to have several meals and several lovely days at this lovely, tranquil lodge just moments away from the town of Karatu on the way to Ngorogoro. The staff is accommodating, welcoming and warm. They have great WiFi that's reliable, something that isn't...
