We would just like to thank Nimrod, Susan and all the wonderful staff at Kitela for making the first stop of our Tanzanian honeymoon so enjoyable. The location is so relaxed and peaceful, yet close enough to visit the surrounding national parks. The staff cannot do enough for you. And the quality of the food and rooms are second to...

Great place to stay good food, nice rooms, great staff, nice pool and just very clean and fancy. Would definitely recommend or stay again. It's a great place to spend a rest day the kids loved that the rooms where large and had Wifi. Box lunches where the best we had in Africa as you make and pack your own....

After checking in we walked to our cottage and were extremely surprised to find one of the best appointed locations of the whole trip. Literally the largest bed I have ever slept in with a marvelous view of a full coffee plantation from our deck. Our first night we enjoyed a BBQ buffet that was tasty and most plentiful, I...

We stayed at Kitela Lodge between driving through Lake Manyara NP and heading to the Serengeti NP the next day. The welcome was great, the rooms are big, comfortable and very attractive with views over the coffee plantation. The main lodge building is welcoming, lots of comfy chairs, open fires and a great big balcony with a beautiful view. The...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a safari around the national parks in Northern Tanzania, and to be honest we were contemplating cutting short our visit to other parts of the...

Our safari itinerary spent our first night here, 3 nights in the Serengeti and then 4 nights here. The staff is amazing. Nothing is too hard for them. The wifi in our room/area of the grounds didn't work and they spent day and night working on it to make it right. Every member of the staff just wants to please....

We stayed at Kitela as part of our safari package. I cannot say enough good things about this property. The website does not do it justice. The main lodge is stunning and overlooks a coffee plantation and garden (most of the food served is grown on premises). The rooms/cottages are spacious (including a your own deck where you can enjoy...

After being on safari you drive into an oasis of calm:) We were warmly met with mimosas and snacks upon arrival. Bags magically appeared in our casita. Individual beautiful little casitas with a lovely interior and great bathrooms!

Loved the atmosphere, layout out and general feel of the place. The staff are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to help . There was a birthday on the trip and we were given a cake and were given an Tanzanian mini party
