We arrived in the first torrential downpour of the summer. Maxine greeted us with a big smile and ushered us into the hall. First impressions were very good. Her house felt warm and instantly relaxing. Everything was clean and fresh. She took us to our room (lily) and showed us where everything was and her attention to our needs was...

Returned to Cherry Tree House for 6 nights this July/August after staying around the same time last year and, once again, had a wonderful stay. The B&B is spotlessly clean with a selection of tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits and fresh milk in your room every day. Maxine and Phil are the most welcoming of hosts. For breakfast, Maxine...

We recently spent a very pleasant three night stay at Cherry Tree House. Maxine is the perfect host and made sure our stay was very comfortable. Everything including the rooms are beautifully furnished and absolutely spotless. Breakfast is plentiful and a really good choice including continental and cooked. The B&B is ideally located for walks to Christchurch, Mudeford and Bournemouth....

I stayed at Cherry Tree House for 9 nights mid July, it was wonderful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and spotlessly cleaned every day and have all the amenities you could need, including daily biscuits, fresh milk, all sorts of teas and toiletries (even a freshly baked fairy cake one day!). Breakfast is fantastic with a wide range of cereals,...

Me and my husband stayed at the Cherry Tree House over the bank holiday weekend and we could not fault the hospitality given to us by Maxine. Maxine made us feel very welcome, giving us the choice of 2 rooms. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was home made, great portions and...

We returned to Cherry Tree House for the second time in six weeks during the early summer of 2014. Maxine and Phil are lovely hosts; friendly and helpful. The house is immaculately clean, the rooms comfortable with excellent en-suite and the food delicious and plentiful. The beach is a very short walk away and fabulous Hengitsbury Head a must for...

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Tree House. Our room was spotless, with a light airy feel to it. Breakfast was excellent with homemade preserves and jams. Maxine and Phil could not do enough for us and we cannot recommend their B&B highly enough. Rick and Sue

This was our second time staying at the Cherry Tree House. For this trip we were there for 15 nights in September 2013. Maxine and Phil were the perfect hosts. They made us feel at home in their B&B and yet they respected our privacy as well. The B&B is the cleanest place we have ever stayed. I also love...

We have stayed in many places in this area, however the Cherry Tree receives our 10 out of 10 for being a special place to stay. The rooms are very well kept and very comfortable and the breakfast is second to none, What with home made bread and jam's and marmalade's, what else can one ask. The 'Full English' is...

Had a really nice time at Cherry Tree House with the family. Chose the location as it's about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Amazingly clean, lovely decor, Maxine is a superb host. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Will be back again for sure.

“We stayed in the Lavender room, but both rooms look great to me. It is on a quiet street so noise is not a factor. We slept very well and even had our windows open at night.”

“We only saw our room which overlooked the back garden, however I have absolutely no doubt that the other room would be equally as nice.”

“There is very little to choose between the rooms as both are bright, very comfortable and quiet with little noise to disturb you. The Lily Room is at the front and gets the morning/early sun. The Lavender Room is at the back and gets the afternoon/evening sun.”
